Update 6/2025: We just got Tempura and chicken fried rice last night and it was EXTREMELY greasy, it seems like they didn't wait until the oil was hot enough as that would cause it. I HOPE they don't do this again, I will update the review after we give it another try if it's better. We are so happy to see another Asian food place here in Columbia Falls. Especially since they have Japanese options! The ladies at the front were very nice and helpful.
The food was great, I just think there is one thing missing - MSG? They said they make their own sauces in house, so that must be why. I am sure it is healthier, but that makes the flavors not stand out enough.
We all loved the shrimp & vegetable tempura the best! The prices are a bit high, but the portions are large. We had to take some home. Maybe they can offer a lunch size in the future?
We are locals so we will be back for sure, thank you!! 😊
Oh BTW, there is no handicap parking spot anywhere around the building. 😞👩🦽 There is a spot right on the side that could be painted for it, right between the existing lines and the yellow curb. Hope someone notices and can help, since this is where we parked to eat here. I...

I settled on the orange chicken bowl with fried rice to go. I was NOT disappointed with my choice!
Expecting the old fold up wax paper boxes I was pleasantly surprised by a nice to go bowl and lid.
Inside was a generous portion of both delicious rice and orange chicken. There was a very nice serving of carrot strips and fresh broccoli steamed to perfection!
I find a lot of food nowadays is so overwhelmed with sauce or seasonings that the food and sides are just not able to be really tasted. Not so here! The fried rice was nicely seasoned, but not overwhelmed with salt and the chicken was coated with a very tasty orange sauce. It was still crispy and the chicken itself shown through.
The entire meal was great! I couldn't finish it all in one sitting! Bonus!
Thank you,...
Read moreThis is the same quality of Japanese-ish food that you might find in an airport eatery between Sbarro and the Chipotle. The food tastes fine but nothing that we tried was made from scratch.
Everything that we ate was served in disposable plastic containers. Even the cutlery was pre packaged disposable plastic silverware.
Bottom line: I am glad that they are open and that there is now another affordable dining option in Columbia Falls. I hope that this restaurant survives longer than the Brooklyn Bagel that preceded them in this space.
Is it better than Tien's? No. Is it comparable to Thai Palace in Kalispell? No. Is it one of the few affordable places to eat in town after two pm? Yes.
