Totally amazing and welcoming experience! My First love and I reconnected in Columbia, MO after 35 years. We were searching for good food, and everybody pointed us to this diner, including his very best friend. We were warmly welcomed by two women who embraced us with the charm of “family.” We both felt right at home and we knew that if we were welcomed like that, then the food must Really be phenomenal!

We Shared the fish, Which being from the West Coast and familiar with fresh fish I was a little hesitant to order. However, When the fish arrived, It was hot, crisp and so delicious! The fish was delicate and cooked perfection. The okra was delicious as well! The brisket was tender, perfectly seasoned and Paired with the barbecue sauce, it was the best taste ever. The sweet potatoes were a little bit too sweet for my taste however, we enjoyed them and the potato salad was just like granny would make. The strawberry cake brought tears to my eyes because it had the flavors of Grannies Sunday after church treat!
