Patron Mexican Grill is a great place. Great food with traditional flavors, good ambiance, and tasty margaritas.

My wife and I recently moved from Texas to the Newtown area two months ago and have had a hard time finding a good Mexican Food Restaurant. The food from most Mexican places we've visited in the area is bland and lacks the traditional flavors you would find in Texas or any other border state.

Patron Mexican Grill does it right. Their Lime Margaritas are big and very tasty. Their Shrimp Cocktail (Coctel de Camaron) is very good, and their Carne Asada is spot on.

They just opened in late May and it's family run, which makes it all the better. We will most definitely be coming back and making this our go to for real...

The perfect place for a big meal! We came for dinner as a couple and really enjoyed the friendliness of the staff and the speed that they served us our food. The margaritas were tasty (pitchers serve at least 3 people). And the food portions were also big giving a great value for very reasonable prices. The authentic guac was incredible, the salsa was great but they need to add an option to make it spicy. They gave us some hot sauce so we could add it to ours. This is really a family place, the atmosphere isn't / decor isn't anything special. Planning to return to try more off...
