We ordered breakfast, which was tasty other than the sausage links were cold and needed warming thru.
It was 10:30 on a Sunday morning and the place was busy, BUT did have a few seats open.
A waitress took our table about 5 minutes after we arrived. Our drinks showed up another 5 minutes later... food another 15 minutes after that.
We had to ask for jelly twice and was tossed a half full container of assortments off the neighboring table.
Our ketchup container had an expiration date of early 2022! 👎
Their in-house made hot sauce was delicious and a must try. It's also for sale at the checkout counter.
Don't EVER accept the two-top table In the back left corner by the kitchen door & men's bathroom. You will get bumped and walked-by dozens of times throughout your dining experience. You'll also get the 'whoosh' of the swinging door there every time they come and go thru it. They also have a dirty dish collection area within feet of this seat, so you're constantly hearing clashing dishes & staff discussions. (It was a horrible location.)
I did complain about it when we checked out, and all she could say was that it was...
Read moreI was very excited to go into this restaurant and asked ahead if I could bring my (registered) Emotional Support Animal in and was told I could. We entered - were nicely seated and ordered our beverages. Shortly after a woman with an apron approached our table and told us we couldn’t be in there with our (5lb) dog unless it was a service dog - I (embarrassed) showed her a virtual ID I had along with my dogs tag collar which said ESA and had a scan ID on it - she told me the virtual ID was illegal and I could have gotten the tag anywhere - beyond embarrassed and with the obvious attention of everyone in this very small one room restaurant I got up holding back my tears and left as fast as I could - I have never been more embarrassed in the moment and was fully prepared to show proof of my dogs eligibility. I have no idea who this woman was or where she worked within the restaurant but I will never go back because of her....
Read moreI had a hot roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy for $8.48 including tax. It was sliced roast beef as in a lunch meat. It was good. The place is small. But the waitresses were really nice and very helpful. My friends had the smothered chicken which she said was excellent. The other friend had a breakfast skillet, which she said was great. While in Brooklyn we went the stores. All very nice. We really liked Weatherman Pharmacy, they had a lot of nice Christmas items and we're giving out coupons. We also enjoyed a store on the opposite side way down the street. I think it was called a pair. It had beautiful Christmas gifts. There is nothing like small town places for friendliness. We had a great time. We also went to a estate sale at Loch Erin. That was great fun also. Matt and Angie Koester ran the Estate Sale and they couldn't be nicer or...
