Took my 20 month old in for coughing so much, that he vomits at night. Sent us home Thursday saying the will do tests but likely just an ear infection…Saturday at 1:30 pm we got results back via email, that he had Whooping Cough. We called to ask them to send a script before they closed at 4pm, all the staff would say “we will add a note to the file.” They delayed sending the script until Sunday morning because they didn’t want to bother a Doctor. My nurse wife also asked them to prescribe additional needed medication, they said no. When we spoke over the phone to a different doctor from the infectious disease office, they immediately agreed and prescribed it for him and requested Preventative Medicine for us (caregivers) in case we needed it. The PA was rude, the staff couldn’t care less, and they had slow testing in an age of quick tests. Thankfully we connected to a real caring doctor...

After going to HFHS WALKIN IN JAX CAUSE I COULDNT GET INTO MY DR, THEN BEING TAKEN TO HFHS ER, STILL NOT GETTING AND HELP FOR PERSISTENT COUGH IN CHEST, COLD SWEATS, CONGESTED, HEAD AND BODY ACHES AND BEING GIVEN A PLACIBO COUGH RX, A WEEK N HALF LATER FROM INITIAL COUGH, GO TO BROOKLYN WALK IN, GOT TAKEN CARE OF, WITH A BREATHING TREATMENT FOR "VERY TIGHT BREATHING CHEST" DR GAVE ME A SHOT, AND 4RX SAID I SHOULD BE BETTER FEELING IN COUPLE DAYS. My experience for the first time here was amazing. I was checked in and out very professional, but friendly my doctor I believe name was Bruce was very personable like I had been seeing him as my primary care physician for years made me feel very comfortable. The whole facility was very clean highly recommended. Fast efficient, I had to get shots in my back and the nurse was very patient with me all in all the staff on 3/27/24 hands very welcoming and friendly.
