Azteca Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Columbia

We are on a job at Tylertown MS so I decided to take my crew out to dinner just to show a little appreciation, I looked up places to eat and found Azteca and decided to take them there. The atmosphere was great waitress was attentive and quick to bring our drinks and take our orders, food arrived promptly and it all looked good. We tasted the shrimp and mind you we are all Mexican so we have eaten everywhere from Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and of course Mexico so our knowledge of Mexican food is a lot different than the average person but nonetheless that is not the issue, the issue was when one of my co-workers ask another waiter about the dish (shrimp la diabla) and he says yes that's how they always cook it here to what he responds he had never tasted that dish in that way, of course everyone has their own take on things and it is all fine but then the waiter replies our customers seem to like it otherwise it wouldn't be on the menu, maybe next time you should ask them to cook it differently and by this time my co-worker was getting a little aggravated by his snooty responses and said I would not be back to what the waiter responds WELL THAT IS YOUR PROBLEM and walked off he was not even our waiter she was nice as can be. I feel a little courtesy goes a long way we never asked for restitution and do not want anything from the establishment other than to train the staff a little better than that, we come to your place to have a good time and enjoy some great food a snooty attitude shouldn't be part...

This has the worst experience ever at a Mexican restaurant. My family and I (Party of 11) visited this establishment on a Sunday night and our waiter initially stated that we would have compliant and boy did we. Our waiter brought us the wrong drinks with wrong liquor and attempted to add Hennessy which was requested when we order to a wrong drink that he made with tequila. My food was extremely cold. He gave the wrong food to my nephew and then took it after he started eating it and gave it to my son. He forgot two of the kids complete order and tried to quickly fix it and brought my niece this raw chicken shown.. my sister food was wrong and my sister in law waited til 15 minutes before we left for a drink we ordered two hours ago. This was awful ! And we weren’t given any type of apology just charged an automatic tip because this waiter didn’t deserve ANYTHING! And a waiter who wasn’t even ours had to bring us to go plates… man man yall gots...

I have attempted to eat at this resraurant twice today. Tje first time the wait staff kept walking by the table lile i did not exist while there were 2 employees sitting at the back of the room watching a game. It was disrespectful so i decided tp get up and leave. And the second time i had to get up to get a waiter just for chips to go with the salsa and queso. I ordered my food it was completely wrong silo i asked them to fix it. When they brought the food back, instead of fixing theor mistake i realized that it was the same thing i ordered with more queso ontop of it. I told them to just take the food back and i didnt want it. WORST experience i have had. I was visiting my fiance from Texas and i will be returning soon and i WILL NOT return to that restaurant. I can serve myself and make my own...
