I bought and paid for a mattress in store on Friday and was told it had to be ordered. They called me Monday and told me it was in. I had to work that week so I told them it would be the end of the week before I could come get it. I was assured this was no problem. My husband and I went Saturday to pick it up and they couldn’t find it in the warehouse, they had sold it to someone else even though I had already paid for it. One of the men who works there walked right past my husband without telling him anything, and walked over to the other men and started talking about us with my husband standing right there. He was saying “this happens all the time, people buy things then don’t come pick them up for a month and get mad when we sell them.” My husband heard him and confronted him about it. It had not even been one week since the mattress had come in and they sold it and then acted like it was somehow our fault. I called on September 15 to make sure my delivery was still set up. If I would not have called they were just going to deliver my dresser, chest and night stand along with a frame to put my mattress on without calling and telling me that my headboard was ripped or even checking everything out BEFORE getting ready to load the truck. They sent the wrong frame with my bed, and told the drivers to come back and get the right one. Of course the drives didn't want too. So basically I gave the driver 100 dollars or quote, (I could sleep on the floor). When I went to get the stools, they said I don't know who told you that, it will be 2 weeks.
