Columbia Inn & Suites — Hotel in Columbia

Horrible experience. I guess that's why it's called the dirty south. Well atleast us Yankees are clean. Over $400 dollars for the weekend. Smells like stale beer, cigarettes, and weed. When we got into our room. There was dirty socks on the floor. Floor wasn't vacuumed. The bed was dirty with hair and dirt. Room has a musty smell to it. There's mold and just dirt. The worst place I have ever stayed. The people who work here don't care about anything it's like there used to it. I asked for two towls to take a shower. They said can't give you towels until later in the day. Like they can't afford to buy...

DO NOT STAY HERE! This is a ROACH HOTEL. They had baby roaches scatter all over my nightstand after I picked up some stuff. Room smelled like smoke, horrible beds. All types of sketchy people, probably dealing drugs, in the parking lot. Did not feel safe there. I immediately packed my things and left. I couldn't get a refund because I had already used the shower before the roaches had made their appearance. Huge rip off. The lady working the counter could seem to care less. It was way over priced for the quality of the location. I paid $130, this is a $50...

This is my 2nd or 3rd time staying at this hotel. This is definitely a smoke-o-tell meaning that the place smells like smoke so much so that it was suffocating and it made me gag several times. They really should make it a nonsmoking hotel. I am only giving this a 2 because the receptionist was pleasant. Otherwise I would have given it a 0 or 1 (if I had to).
