I got the sandwich I didn’t know I needed or wanted.
Woke up Saturday morning and my girlfriend wanted to check this place out. I wasn’t feeling a sandwich, but I went along because I wear the pants…. but she picks them out. We get to the place and get in line. It’s the kind of place where you order and then take a seat. I ordered and IPA and she ordered the seltzer. We sit and her eyes light up as she sips her drink. I take a sip and her 6.6% drink tastes like an ICE you buy from Kroger! That drink would be DANGEROUS! About 10 min goes buy and they call our name for our food. Read moreThe IPA that was recommended was not very good. Not a great atmosphere and as a conservative Christian it did not feel like a safe space.
Update: I think the owners response shows great ignorance. The owner makes assumptions about myself and puts the blame back on me and even suggests that maybe there is no public place where I would feel safe and that I am the one who is not tolerant. If a gay person had made this comment, my guess is that the response would have been quite different. No, you do not honestly welcome everyone and you need to look at your own viewpoints more honestly and do better to actually do...
