Badd Boys Cafe — Restaurant in Columbia

My company has been in this building for quite some time. Most of us are in and out. Today we had in house training and my supervisor had been saying that the food was good. First let's start with my call in. The gentleman was rude on the phone. When I told him I had to separate orders, he kept saying what to I want as if he was in some sort of rush. Not that I took my sweet time, I had already read the menu before calling. Then, I told him to hang on for just one second to ask my coworker if she wanted a drink, she said sweet tea. I came back to tell him and he had done hung up in my face. After about 20 mins or so, my coworker and I literally walked around the corner to get our food (we were right in the conference room down the hall). This man hadn't even started the order, and here we were concerned about if our fries would be cold. He literally said "Oh, I haven't even started yet." Then we told him never mind. This man didn't hesitate to say sorry, or give an explanation, all he said was okay bye. SMH. I will never spend my money with someone who is that rude. First time visit today 9/9/21.

We sat outside on the deck as we brought our dog. It is very very quiet and nice under the shady trees.

My husband and I both got salads. He got the Badd Boys special and I got the Cobb. Both were very good with high quality ingredients- the grilled chicken (extra) in particular was juicy and well flavored. The ranch dressing wasn’t my preference (too sweet and thick- don’t think it’s homemade) but if I came back, I would just get a different dressing. We really enjoyed the fries - I feel like it’s really hard to find a decent, normal shoestring fry in Columbia and this place has them!

Overall, a very nice spot for a slightly upscale casual lunch. Would definitely return to try more of their menu, particularly their sandwiches.

There are times life calls upon us to do the impossible, to become what we never thought we could be, those moments which reveal our true character and life’s true measure of man. Bad Boys Cafe brought that to me today. What seemed like an ordinary burger and fries revealed in myself an enjoyment I have yet to fully experience during my time on earth. The Smoked Gouda 8oz of perfectly cooked meat, lettuce tomatoes and a perfectly soft bun that doesn’t get soggy from the juices slowly and surely covering the entire meal.
