I have eaten at different FH subs before and have never had any issues. Yesterday I went and ordered two subs: a Hero and a Steamer. Took 15 minutes with no one ahead of me and six employees behind the counter. Wow. What were they doing?! I almost cancelled my order and left for somewhere else, but I decided to just be patient. Finally got my food...went all the way home and open up my bag and the meat was missing from one of the subs! HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN??? They managed to assemble the lettuce, mayo, onion and tomato on it but forgot the meat? Really? Was this a joke? Yes, I could have checked it before I left but who ever thinks someone could mess up a 15-min subswith no special requests or substitutions? My mistake! So I get back in my car and drive 15 minutes back to the store because these subs aren't cheap and had it remade . That should have never happened, I should have been offered a refund instead of a "do over" and the manager should have walked up to me and apologized instead of hidden behind one of his employees and saying "sorry about that" across from the building while looking at the floor. Come on, man you know better than that . Needless to say, from now on, I'll stick with Jersey Mikes which is down the road, has competent staff, quickly makes the food and never...

I honestly hadn’t had a firehouse sub in a couple of years so my wife and I were excited to order! Unfortunately the engineer sub we ordered was completely covered in mayo when my wife specifically requested ‘no mayo’. It was absolutely everywhere…on the top, bottom, in the middle of the turkey. The sandwich was inedible so we threw it away and her appetite was completely lost. I wish I had taken photos of this abomination.
The Italian sub I ordered was just ok and honestly pretty cold. My wife said she’s never ordering from this location again. I may be back but before i return, it needs to be said that NO ONE needs a 1/4 cup of mayo on their...
Read moreFirehouse is definitely one of my favorite lunch spots; however, this location needs to get it together. 1) EVERY time I call in a order and come in to pay, I end up standing & waiting for another 10 minutes when my sub is ready and sitting there but nobody called my name to see if I was here. I end up having to ask "Is that order for..." 2) Last time placing a call in order, then doing the same thing described in #1, I get back to work to find my club on a sub only has lettuce & mayo/mustard. Like, your job is to make subs and this is clearly a fail. The entire staff needs to be replaced, maybe move some people from the location on highway 1 in west columbia, because I never have issues...
