I am appalled at the customer service i recieved the last 2 times i have ordered from the Columbia MO location. Tonight i ordered $50 of food at 6:16 pm and estimated time of arrival is 7:11 pm. Not bad under an hour. Well 2 hours later i call the store and the manager Madison answers. I advise her that our order still has not arrived but we saw him pull up and then sat there for a minute and drove off. She tells me that she will call him and he will be right there. 12 minutes pass by so i call again and she tells me he forgot the soda and went to the gas station. Now the gas station is only 2 minutes from the house. I explain that its been over 2 hours and we saw him pull up but just leave and now its been 15 minutes that order will deneitely be cold. That our food should have been here an hour ago and i have a toddler that should have eaten an hour ago. She then said she cant change times on the order if the wait is gonna be longer because thats all on corporate. They control the time of arrival. I said ok, but that doesnt change the fact that i have 50 worth of cold food. She replyed with i dont know what you want me to do. We can just cancel the order! I cant believe the lack of customer service from the manager. So thats what i did. I explained that i will no longer be a customer and i no longer will not use them for my corporate events either. She advised it will take 3 to 5 days. And to have a good night. There was so remorse or apology. She didnt even try to keep me as a customer. Then as i rush out the door to get my family dinner the drver pulls up and i advise we cancelled the order that it took to long and we saw u leave prior. He said that was another driver that had the wrong address. So now they are lairs as well. Horrible that this happened because we do Love imos food. This used to be our favorite...
Read moreIt was your typical Imo's Pizza, seems that to work there you must have at least 6 piercings in odd places, and natural hair color must be banned, and finally tattoos in every area visible to public.., ah yes, we can't forget the standard attitude or the Imo's worker, doesn't matter if it's in St. Louis or Columbia, or anywhere between, the employee is required to put off a nonchalant attitude that says, in it's stoner voice, "I make the same amount whether you buy or not and I am more interested in my cell phone than anything you could possibly have to say". The service aside, the pizza taste was equal to the other locations I've been to and was hot and fresh, as well as the toasted ravioli I also ordered. Seems as though they might be using less of the creamy gooey cheese that made them famous, as now you don't get the same effect as say..10 years ago. Overall was good food, same poor service we have become accustomed to, and I got my food to go, so I can only comment on what I observed from the staff and the customers sitting in the small area to dine as not unpleasant although I don't know how much time it took after one of the diners ordered another drink or something else off the menu to receive it. No one seemed unhappy so One can only assume that they enjoyed their visit. Read moreI just spoke with Zeke at this location. I received someone's pizza receipt by email. I was not sure if I was being a victim of identity theft since I did not place the order. I left a message on Wednesday, March 3, 2022, requesting Zeke to call me. At 7p on Sunday, March 6, 2022, he had not returned my call. I called him asking him to please check a ticket of an order placed with my name and address due to me not placing the order. Zeke stated that "I was overreacting since my card had not been charged and that anytime someone made an order from the company, I worked for I would be receiving the email receipt". I explained to Zeke that I did not want to receive emails each time someone made an order. The person who made the order should get the ticket. Zeke was rude and did not want to handle the matter. Zeke also stated that "he had been out of the restaurant and was too busy to return my call". He further stated that "nothing could be done to change the email receipts". I feel this is poor customer service and rude behavior for a manager.
Update: I emailed the corporate office like Zeke requested. The corporate office emailed me to contact the local owner. I emailed back and told them I had already spoken to the local office but was told to email corporate. I did not hear back from corporate. I did receive a phone call from the owner who was very nice.
