Just Jeff's — Restaurant in Columbia

I would have to give a honest review about this place. I'm sure the food was good back when they were street food and when I looked at the pictures they look amazing. I'm sure they tasted great too. But when i visited today. I was not surprised. The atmosphere was decent. Bit crowded and the cooking area was way too close to the customers. Being in the enclosed area had the weird mixture of hot and cold and it just didnt set right.

Onto the food. It was overpriced. Hands down I could of made 30 dogs for the price they charged me for the food. Inunderstand when they were on the streets they couldnt add fries. But when you're in a sit down place and want people to hangout. They will need to have more food than what's is available. A small order of fries with your food is a huge upgrade and would probably be the deciding factor to come back.

The service was wonderful though. They call out your name and then they bring you the food. It just has that feel of being on the streets. But more in a restaurant kind if way.

The presentation of the food when you first open the container was breathtaking. It looked marvelous. And if it was cheaper. It would of been a full 5 stars.

Hopefully some changes will be made to keep business. I know other friends who say the food has gone downhill since they added...

I would give no stars. At the first location the woman was rude and impatient taking our order as if she didn't want to take the order because of the way we wanted our food prepared. We tried to over look her attitude but it become overwhelming for us when we're spending our money on food and customer service. When expressed to her our concerns and that we would just go to the other location she smuked. So I asked to speak with her boss; the boss has no clue how customer recovery works but she tried. Moving forward to the south of town location everything went fine in the drive thru but we pulled up to the window to pay with 3-4 employees  around the window (as if the loop location called over). A man that had on a black hat and apron(looks as if he's the cook) look right out the window into our faces and start WIPING HIS NOSE  WITH HIS HAND. As if he didn't care that we seen him do it. What would you do? Well we just gave up on Jeff and drove off there was nothing to talk...

When my husband and I first spotted this place we thought it looked like nothing special. We looked it up on the internet and found that it's burger was voted best burger in Columbia. We decided we had to try it. It did not disappoint. They have a little drive through to order and also a window if you want to get out. They have several different tables set up outside to eat on if you choose. They have a small simple menu but everything they do, they do it right and the best. We can honestly say it is the best burger we have ever had. We go at least once a week now and always take family there when they come in town. Everyone we have taken is hooked. Only downfall is that they are only open from 10-3...
