McDonald's — Restaurant in Columbia

The cafe machine is down EVERY time we drive thru this location. The only time it wasn't was when there was no one else in line. If there are more than 2 to 3 cars in the drive thru you can almost guarantee the cafe machine will be down. Although this morning they changed their story. When I asked if it was up this morning they said it was down (of course), and when I said "it's always down" it was all of a sudden being cleaned.... not down. Then when I said "whatever, it's always down" the guy, said just a minute and comes back saying it's up now and was done being cleaned 10 minutes ago. Okay?? LOL The thing is they used to be even slower then they are now when they didn't say it was down every time we went thru the drive thru. I believe they are saying its down when they are busy because they can't keep up when they are making the specialty coffee's. When they used to have it running on a regular basis we were actually asked to pull over and wait every time we went thru the drive thru. One time I was told it was because they weren't done drizzling the chocolate on my wife's mocha! Seriously? I will not be using this McDonald's again because after the issue this morning it appears they gave me the oldest, driest, bacon, egg and cheese bisquit they could find (probably to be spiteful). It actually tasted like a rock with egg and old bacon in the middle. Management really needs to figure something out with this location. They may want to contact the Stadium location for advise. Their cafe machine is always working, there food is always fresh, and I have never been asked to pull over and wait. We will be going to the Stadium location...

I had an online purchase, waited for order to come out, after 15 min I went in to see if it was close. I was told yes they added they were very busy would be a min. I said yes I could see they were busy, but I could also see that while I was waiting outside every car that was in the drive thru ( which was lined up all way to street both lanes) have all been cleared out and now your clearing out the next bunch that have come up way after I got here and Im still waiting!! Finally I get my order, or so I thought, they handed me one value meal. I told them I still needed my double ¼ lb'er, & 20 pc nugget. 20 min later!!!! I got rest of my order mind you the 1st part was now cold. I look in bag, ok there's the double sauces for nuggets and box under the sandwich. U guessed it got home only to see the box under the sandwich was a regular cheeseburger!!!! Not only was it not my 20 nuggets it was a TINY REG CHEESEBURGER in a BOX not the paper. tells me they did that on purpose. Problem is of course I called complained was told I'd get the coupon in mail blah blah blah, but they don't care, they don't even have to change b/c they know they will always be busy so who cares if I stop going, they will still get plenty of bus. Horrible thing is I was told just that by the manager. She actually told me if I didn't like her store there were plenty more McDonald's to choose from, she would be just fine w/o my bus. Then told me to have a nice day and hung up. What happened to treating people with respect, kindness, and just plain...

Today I had an unpleasant experience not once but twice. Around 11:30 am I went in a hurry to get to a meeting. I ordered a mcdouble & diet coke. I'm diabetic & they gave me a regular coke so I had to throw it out & take meds. This evening I went again for my granddaughter & great grandbabies. When I tried to place my order, I asked to speak to a manager, however the employee insisted he wanted to get my order. He must have been new & very young, as he did not know the menu. After repeating myself several times & him telling me to wait a minute, so he could ask another employee something regarding my order, I told said employee I was getting frustrated and I want to speak to a manager. The manager then took my order, however when I explained my earlier encounter to her & that I'm a diabetic & couldn't drink the coke, the only thing she offered me was a free diet coke. It wasn't free to me, I paid for the first one & they gave me the wrong drink. I received no compensation for their incompetence. When I got the second order to my granddaughter, they messed up my happy meal orders & one of my great grandbabies didn't get her apples. In addition, the young girl behind me in the drive thru yelled obscenities at me & flipped me the bird. It's the season of happiness & thankfulness. What is it with people today, no gratitude or happy thoughts. I hope whoever reads this has a happy experience the next time they go through...
