Ice cream was great however the customer service needs some work.
We walked up and saw the sign on the window that they were not excepting walk ups and to go through the drive thru. Ok cool not a problem but also really nice that they have their menu hanging up with ALL their flavors so our 6 and 10 year old can read it and decide what they want before we go to the drive up and hold that up deciding.
While standing there another couple walked up so my husband and daughter walked to the other menu so everyone could see. While reading and talking to my daughter about what she wanted some guy throws the window open, startles my husband and daughter, yells at them that there is a sign saying walk up is closed and they need to go to the drive thru and slammed the window shut.
Some advice, if you don’t want people reading the menu, cover it. If you don’t want to be able to see people standing there reading the menu, cover the window more. Uncalled for to yell at customers. At no point did any of us knock on the window, or yell at anyone, or try to get anyone’s attention. Zero reason to be a jerk. Read moreAt 3 o'clock with no other customers, the manager opened the window to tell us that he could not serve anybody except up at the drive-thru. So we walked to drive thru. He opened that window to tell us because of insurance, he could not serve us from that window unless we were in a car. So so we went back to the tables and sat for a minute, deciding what to do. Another family walked up and the manager told them the same thing, except he gave them (thru the drive up window-- hello, insurance company) a scoop of ice cream for the pet. After a minute, my daughter walked over to the drive in window again and ask him to open the side window so that we could order, all 9 of us, 2 families. Remember no one else was there. He refused. A minute later my daughter went back to walk up window and asked if he would reconsider or did he want to lose the business? He said he would lose the business. He stared at us thru the open window. I told him sarcastically he needed to close the walk up window, because whatever reason. He replied, "I can do whatever I want whenever I want b**!" So both families went to Andy's. Read moreI absolutely love Randy’s. I love the toppings & variety offered. However, I had an unfortunate experience on April 1, 2022. I arrived at the Randy’s drive thru at 9:40pm, and they closed at 10pm. I waited at the drive thru for several minutes without a response. I then pulled up to the drive thru window and confirmed that the close time was 10pm. I got out of my car and proceeded to ring the doorbell and knock on the window for the next 10 minutes without a response. There was a set of keys and wallet sitting on the counter and the lights were on. I saw movement from the back of the store, but no one came up to take my order. I called the phone and was sent to voicemail. As all of this was occurring, another car with 4 potential customers came to the drive thru window and left as they were also not served. I finally gave up, disappointed, and decided to leave. As I pulled away, I peered through the drive thru window and saw a teenage girl peeking her head from behind equipment in the back of the shop.
