Loved this bar. Have to say, we chose to go here because of the appearance and the free parking. There is a back deck, the side deck and a front deck. We went inside and sat at the back bar. Now, I love a good bar and this place I loved. Andrew was the perfect bartender, very attentive, personable, knowledgeable. Food was great, prices very reasonable, atmosphere dive-ish. Lots of good draft beers, good selection of liquor. The best thing, however, was the clientele. I loved the diversity. 20 somethings to 80 somethings, black and white. Everyone having a great time and enjoying being there. I don't live in Columbia but if I did this might be my favorite place. Thoroughly enjoyed.

This place is not upscale or quiet at all--it's a college bar and grill--but they always have good food. Service varies, but isn't bad, usually. Their chicken tenders are huge, delicious, and come out painfully hot--watch your fingers. The burgers are good, too. For a side, it's hard to beat their tater tots smothered in melted pimento cheese.

Went here for lunch and the food came out quickly. The club sandwich was massive and absolutely delicious. The tater tots were fried perfectly and tasted even more delicious with the homemade ranch. Ended up spending $12 for the club and tots, which I think is a great price for the portions you get. Definitely coming back!

I was highly disappointed in the treatment. I came to visit this establishment to take my son for his first drink for his 21st birthday today. I am not one to play the race card but my son and I sat down in a booth and my son asked the young lady (brunette) for a place to charge his phone. We sat there patiently waiting on a server. A young man walked past us and took a table outside. I said nothing and continued to wait. It’s now about 10 minutes and two other staff members sat down and started talking, no one said a word to us. Every single table was taken care of and no one came to our table, said hello, absolutely nothing. Everyone continued to walk around as if we weren’t there. I finally asked the young lady after about 15 minutes, if anyone was working. She said she asked if we needed a server and we said no. That was a lie. She never asked and we definitely didn’t say no because I looked into places all day that I could take my son for his birthday. Ultimately we chose to leave. I work in customer service, so I am always polite when I’m out. I think if EVERYONE was greeted by EVERY staff member things like this wouldn’t occur. I definitely felt unwelcome and I...

So the food was really good. Little surprised everything was on paper products. Usually colleges are pro save the earth. I got a burger and ate it for 2 days haha the fries were soggy and not really flavorful. The tots on the other hand chefs kiss My sister got wings and had nothing but good things to say. They had a deal on wings if your a wing lover you should try it. Now when it come to how I felt while in there, that's different. It is clearly for college people and I'm ok with that. But I felt because I was not a college student and do not look like the others I didn't get the same energy as everyone else. (just for ref there were other noncollege students there but they were parents an not P.O.C) could have just been us but definitely didn't finish eating...

Went to Salty Nut after seeing the good reviews, trying to find a quick and casual eat. Sat down, waited at least 35-40 to get our food. Ordered fried pickles, those were great. Also ordered a pimento cheese burger and a Buffalo Chicken Wrap. Had planned to order fried okra... were out of that. Bummer. The pimento cheese burger was absolutely disgusting, the pimento cheese was still freezing cold on the burger. The burger was dry, definitely frozen prior to being cooked. Bun tasted stale. Worst part was definitely the freezing cold, unmelted pimento cheese. Buffalo chicken wrap was disgusting as well. Wasn’t even warmed or hot, so there was cold shredded cheese all in it. Chicken was so dry with barely any buffalo sauce on it. Will not be returning, very...
