Black Swan Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Columbus

So, let me start by saying: if you’re looking for a quiet night sipping wine and discussing existential philosophy... this ain’t it.

We hit up Black Swan Bar over the weekend, and it was a whole ride — and I mean that in the best way. First of all, shout-out to the bartenders. These legends were slinging drinks like they were in the Wild West. Drinks were strong enough to make me forget my ex's name and cheap enough to afford a second round for the poor decisions that followed. A+ all around.

Now. Let’s talk Country Night. We accidentally wandered into one of those on a Saturday (they also do it Tuesdays, apparently, because yeehaw knows no boundaries). The moment we walked in, we were surrounded by cowboy boots, Wranglers, and enough hats to start our own rodeo. I thought I was in a country music video. A fun one — not the heartbreak kind.

People were line dancing in sync like they’ve trained for this since childhood. I’m not kidding — it was like watching a Southern flash mob. I had no clue what I was doing, but someone handed me a whiskey, gave me a little push, and suddenly I’m out there boot-scootin’ like I was born on a ranch. 10/10 recommend.

The crowd? Chill, happy, and down to dance. No pretentious nonsense — just people who showed up to have a good time and get a little rowdy. Nobody's judging if you mess up the steps, just don’t spill your drink on someone’s boots unless you want a polite but firm talking-to.

Bottom line: Black Swan Bar is a good-time factory. Go for the drinks, stay for the dance floor, and maybe bring a hat if you want to blend in. Or don’t. Honestly, no one cares as long as you're vibing.

Will definitely be back. Probably on a Tuesday. Probably in boots this...

I have left a review on here before and I decided I’d give this place another even when the once was owner the drunk Aaron and DJ asked me to take it down because it made them look bad I have been going here for over 3 years and was misgendered for most that time but I thought I would try it out. The DJ is still a drunk the new owner Dawn said they were on the way to booting Arron and his wife out because they stole from them. How ever I went one night a had used my card for a 4 dollar drink that cost me 25 plus because they put a hold on your card and don’t tell you. I said to the bar keep Josh this issue and why there is no sign staining this and he said he has tried to talk to Dawn about it but they won’t do anything about it. I then say to Josh how about telling someone as your the bar tender to say hey there is a 25 dollar old on your card if you run it and he just said yeah and it says it would go back on my card and it stated it was back on but I have not seen the money so they all stole from me. And let’s not talk about the cockroach I seen run across the bar counter and the back down to the alcoholic beverages it makes me wonder if you look at them bottles how many roaches are within them. If you’re charged $25 for your card more than likely, you will not get it back and this place is really good at pointing fingers other than that themselves. I think it is time for me to depart from this place altogether and I’m sure the owners agree, but I will be filing a police report, and report theft. I came to this place and at first seemed great until I was miss gendered for 2.5 years I’m a trans female. the owner/DJ who dinks constantly at the bar and has people bring him shots up. He cuts in to your song if he needs a shot while you’re singing on the system he will call out in his own mic for drinks. They had a pride night but I was miss gendered yet again on that night. This place has 6 separate owners and yet still has poor management to many chiefs and not enough Indians. The left had does not know what the right is doing. They are extremely high priced even for the low grade wisky and Bourbon and so on. If your new to the bar in seems great but once you go there for a long time the don’t care much about you. Only the new comers .so they can put on a false Persona. They constantly change the events schedule this place use to be a good place for karaoke how ever it is rare they don’t know how to read the Dynamic of the place or adhere to it. Agin very poor management skills. If they did not get high off their own supply so to speak they may do better but that has yet to happen. If this was on bar Rescue they would get an ear full. This place has made it to where I know longer want to go back. Now i’m just waiting for this place to take the final dive down to no where. And cat say I would be bummed if it did.
