This is an absolute treasure of a place. When we got there there was a waiting list and had to wait for a few minutes. It was impressive that the number of people didn't stop coming even after we left. The food was cooked when ordered and it was simply accompanied by that fresh taste you can't get from frozen. We went with the Olympic corned beef hash and the Olympic mama bowl. Now, the beef hash was generous servings, enough to feed two adults....or one hangry teen. The cooks really outdid themselves. The mama bowl includes two biscuits with gravy and topped off with two eggs. We decided to try the baklava and a cinnamon roll. By the gods, for how simple, it is, that cinnamon roll was out of this world. The owners are always there, hands-on, and don't shy away from smiling and being hands-on. EDIT: I have now tried their Country Fried Stake. It comes topped with three eggs and fries. Some of the best fries I've had! Pretty sizable plate. EDIT 2: I've now tried the Olympic Burger. That one is good but slightly weird. It is part breakfast and part classic, with a fried egg topped with gravy, but also lettuce, tomato, and pickles. The gravy does make everything slippery and I ended up struggling to hold everything in place. I recommend cutting it in half. The fries are freaking amazing!! We also had the liver and onions. My wife really loved that dish, but that is one of those dishes you either love or hate.

No thrills diner. Affordable prices, homey and cozy feel to it. The lady running the host stand was nice and pleasant. They were extremely busy, but they seemed to be getting people in and out and the food out fast. My food was delish and simple. Crispy bacon, fried eggs and a yummy biscuit. The side of fruit is large and very fresh. My son got a fried chicken sandwich and although it wasn't the best he has ever had, he said it was good. Bathrooms were clean, which is something i always pay attention too. No problem with service and all around, I would go back to try additional menu items. My rating could go up, if they had more space and maybe if I would've tried another "speciality" food item that might have set them apart from other restaurants, always next time!

This is a diner. Use that as your criteria. Part greek, part country, part whatever you want it to be. TVs, torn seats, and kind of run down (bathrooms are most upscale). Food is decent enough just note they don't come with a side. The kid's menu tenders and fries are cheaper than a side of onion rings (and they're just ok). Service is great! Friendly and plenty! The Olympic Burger is super messy and the gravy will get your bread soggy (and all over your hand) so choose at your own risk. It's a rural diner (but local popular by the looks of it so).

I really like this place. I’ve been many times and service and food are always wonderful. Today is the first time the service was not so great. I gave it 4 stars because I don’t want one bad service to spoil the other great things about them. I had a male server today and he seemed to be more concerned about what was on his phone than what was going on in the dining room. He actually came to my table to take my order still engaged in conversation….then said goodbye and asked me if I was ready. I am…are you? Not a good look my friend. He took my order then I didn’t see him for a while…..anywhere. I wondered if the food that I saw ready in the pass was mine getting cold while he was off doing whatever. He brought me my food and bill at the same time and never returned. I get it, bring the bill…save time. I don’t particularly care for that time saver as a guest, but not the end of the world. Occasionally I would look up and see him off to the side where the credit cards are rung up “ doing something on his phone” and just thought to myself that someone needs to teach him how to be a waiter. I know it’s not some fancy Michelin-star restaurant, but common basic service shouldn’t be ignored. I finally got up and headed to go pay and he saw and met me. He was pleasant enough, not a big personality, but not a deal breaker by any stretch so long as you’re not rude (which he was not), as I stated earlier he was pleasant. I tipped normally because I didn’t know if his service was due to inexperience and lack of knowledge (which would not totally be his fault), even if in my mind some things should be common sense. But what’s common sense to me may not be to others. I will continue to frequent them because they are typically just wonderful. I hope this post helps out educationally if nothing else to...

This is by far one of the best diners in the Midwest. The staff is friendly and professional. It reminds me of the dinners in NJ and NY. The owners are the best and do not take their customers for granted, they thank each customer for coming to eat at their restaurant. Very down-to-earth people that genuinely care about their employees and customers. Very little turnover of staff tells a lot of what is going on behind the scenes as well as the front. The menu is large, try the Detroit Special Coneys! They use Dearborn Hotdogs one of the top dogs in the USA, on a STEAMED Bun with Detroit Chill Sauce and add chopped white Spanish onions and yellow mustard. You can add cheddar cheese if you want as an option or save that for the Coney Chilli. This is the place to call home when you don't feel like cooking, it's all homemade plus the deserts, all by professional cooks, that show their appreciation, and try to greet each customer from behind the kitchen wall and wave. I never write anything, but my wife and I have gone so many times that we've gotten close to the owners and staff as we never would and still don't but only here. This is a very loving and caring business. Please go and ask to see the owners, if you talk to Ollie please tell him Ken and Carol from Dublin, say hi, and recommended his Coney Dogs loaded with a steam bun, never...
