Im rattled. Leaving this review breaks my heart. When I lived in Columbus 4 years ago, me and my wife ate here like once a week. These were the best tacos on the planet. 2 weeks ago I took all my friends from the east coast. After hyping these up for weeks it was the biggest let down of all time.
There were 6 of us. First of all, no more giant paper towel roll on the table. No more filling out the paper sheet for your taco order. And no more mushroom taco (i can live with all of this). When we all ordered, every single order came out incorrect. We ordered chicken, pork, brisket, and beef tacos and got all beef…. They had no idea who’s order belonged to who when they got to the table. The salsa with chips at the beginning was just a bowl of red water. Not even kidding, when you dipped a chip it came our completely bare. When we asked for another batch they told us “oh yeah that mustve been the bottom of the batch” and then never brought more… we asked twice. The queso was also liquidy and bland. (It used to be remarkable).
Lastly, and most importantly, the tacos were TERRIBLE. The worst food ive eaten in years. Every single person hated their order. The meat was dry, the toppings were limited, and the double shells had literally not an ounce of refried beans, guac, cheese or anything in between them. We also ordered extra chipotle crema and there was legitimately maybe a drop of it on each taco. But they charged us for extra of course. We also got double meat on a few, and they charged us for that, but each taco had the exact same amount of meat (barely any). We all also ordered a flight of margs…. 2 came out right away. And then the other 4 came after we finished eating….. they also brough them out in big glasses half filled because they “ran out of clean small glasses” (it was NOT busy at all lol). This was the worst dining experience ive ever had. I talked it up for weeks and looked like a fool. I was so embarrassed.
We ended up eating somewhere else a little while later. Awful experience. I wish I took photos because it was truly unbelievable.
Idk what happened. But this place is beyond horrible now. Terrible food, terrible service, and just god awful all around. I never leave reviews but i...
Read moreUnfortunately, this is not a positive review. Let me start off by saying the female manager, Sarah (I believe), is great and was the reason I started going to Condado. Unfortunately, that great customer service energy doesn't transfer over to the male workers. I went to this location a few weeks ago and sat at the bar for dine in and there was a nice crowd. A couple of males looked at me, walked by me a couple of times, and never acknowledged me, spoke, offered a menu or water and after 5 minutes of waiting I realized I didn't matter and I left. Tonight on Tuesday I decide to go back and try again. They weren't busy. 1 customer at the bar. 2 tables sat and 1 pick up order while I was there. A guy spoke when I came in to sit at the bar. After taking my order that was the end of my service. There was no how was your food, no thank you for coming in, no have a great day, no would you like order anything else, no would you like a water. There was just a receipt sat next to my food. I settled the bill and barely left a tip because I get better service at McDonald's and Burger King. I definitely will not be returning. I believe the same guy who rung me up tonight was one of the guy's who ignored me on my last visit. Condados,...
Read moreOur experience was amazing! My girlfriend and I just stopped in for lunch cause we were in town and this place did not disappoint. I liked that their menu was mostly a build your own with chef suggestions available. Plus our host/bartender was extremely friendly and helpful. He explained the process of filling out the order form and answered any questions. He even gave some recommendations for a sauce that would go good with the taco my girlfriend had built. Once our food came the experience got even better. Our food was absolutely delicious and you could tell they were authentic and used fresh ingredients. You could also taste that extra level of flavor that you get from taking your time to prepare the food well and marinating the meats. I was very happy with the different options they had. There's definitely something for everyone, including vegans and vegetarians! The price was more than you would pay for everyday tacos but due to the fresh ingredients, the deliciousness, and great service, they're worth it for sure. We paid about $44 for 7 tacos, 2 sides, and the dirty queso dip appetizer. The portions were good and we each had a taco left over that we had to take home. 10 outta 10,...
