This place has some of the absolutely best, authentic street-style tacos in Columbus, if not the best. Seriously.
I've tried the lengua, al pastor, carne asada, and pollo tacos. My favorite being the al pastor and pollo, but you can't go wrong from what I know. The lengua is probably more of an acquired taste, though. There may even be more meats offered but I haven't tried those quite yet. The tacos were priced at about $3.50/ea.
The tacos come with your choice of protein, topped with diced onion, and chopped cilantro (street-style). Within the container you'll find sliced radish, quartered lime, and a spicy orange sauce. While I'm not entirely sure what that sauce is called, it is very tasty. If you like spicy stuff, ask for extra.
There's a small table and chairs in front of the truck for those waiting for their order or to eat their tacos.
Bottom line is, if you're in the market for delicious Mexican street tacos: look no further. At the time of writing, cash is the only accepted payment method. Hopefully that will change, but it isn't stopping me from...
Read moreJust moved from LA looking for a new place to eat locally and have a “regular spot”. After a quick google search found this place had high expectations due to the previous comments but Food, signs and menu are very misleading. Got burritos for me and my family and paid 60$ for 5 and all the sizes were different. Signs say “real Mexican food” which is miss leading because food was “Tex-Mex” which is not “Mexican food”.! When ordering, I asked for a certain items, not to be in my food, and which they made all the burritos the same just not the same size. Even after they acknowledged it. Some food options were not available even though it was on the menu. I wouldn’t recommend eating here unless you wanna pay more than you would for gas. Especially with a taco being at 4$ and a burrito at $12. Go to “Tacos el Paisa” is a better alternative for price/portion size.
Burritos we bought were 25% rice, bean, meat the rest was...
Read moreI visited once and the food was decent. I ordered 2 chicken tacos and a chicken burrito. The tacos had seasoned chicken pieces with cilantro sprinkled on top in a soft corn tortilla with cucumbers, radishes, and lime served on the side. It also came with a spicy orange sauce. The tacos were ok. Not bad, but left me wanting more. The burrito was a little disappointing. It wasn't wrapped tight so it quickly fell apart. The flavor was good but i didn't see/taste any chicken until i got to the end. The green sauce that came with it was delicious though. I took my food to-go but they have an outdoor seating area. I will likely try this spot again and eat on site...maybe the burrito will hold up better if I eat it immediately. Lastly, their card payment machine was a little wonky. It had difficulties with maintaining service. Not their fault, but i recommend taking cash...
