Okay, so Mexigrill... I'm gonna go one more time and get something different but I wasn't super impressed. Service was trash, but I'm chalking that up to it being our new server..literally like first day.
So we waited about 15 mins before anyone came to get drink orders (not very busy) . Once we ordered,my husband about had to get rude after asking 3 times about the cheese dip being brought out and each time the server was like "oh yeah".
Food was delicious and very authentic. Burria tacos were good, I got the rice and beans side and I generally don't eat much of it at usual Mexican places but these were amazing and ate almost all of it. , the cheese dip we got was cold so we just left that, my husband got the burrito which he still was raving about this morning and tex mex tacos that he couldn't finish. My Mom got just regular tacos.
It was quite the bill but good food. I will go back and try something different. If the service is trash again we won't go back,...
Read moreThis is hands down one of the best, if not the best Mexican restaurant in town. I have been here several times in the past few weeks. Their tacos are excellent! I highly recommend steak, carnitas, northern (sausage and potato), barbacoa, and chicken. They come with a platter of raw onion, pico, cilantro, and limes. The corn tortillas are warm bundles of deliciousness. Everything is very fresh and so so so good. They have mole as a special very often and it is wonderful. The mole dish comes with a big plate of chicken on the bone, mole sauce, and rice with a side of tortillas. It was delicious. They also have enchiladas as a special that have the mole sauce on top. The portion was so big i saved some for dinner! I highly recommenced. They also have burritos and chile rellenos which I haven't had yet but I have heard they were also good from friends that have had them. I will be coming back until i can have everything they serve. The place is clean and the staff is...
Read moreHopefully, I'll leave 4 stars after the second visit.
With this first visit, the restaurant was quite cute upon our first impression. Our waitress was nice too. The issue was the length of time it took to receive our food. Maybe 20 minutes, which was surprising because the restaurant wasn't crowded 🤔 About four other tables of 2-3 ppl.
As for the food: I ordered chicken, steak/barbacoa and pork tacos. The barbacoa was sweet and zesty; not the best, but the chicken and pork were excellent. I travel to Mexico every year and these had the same authentic taste 🙂 (except for the barbacoa). My son ordered a burrito and he enjoyed it. So, 3 stars for now. If we go back, we hope to have a more satisfying experience.
Lastly, after our food was given, our waitress didn't come back to check on us and once we were finished, it took her about another 20 mins to show to bring a to go box...
