Mr. Wing Sports Grill and Bar — Restaurant in Columbus

Went for the first time yesterday with my family. and I don’t see myself returning. The food was okay, they did have some really good fried mushrooms. My wings could’ve been cooked longer but they were good but the drinks were AWFUL. I ordered two cocktails, one I let my server suggest something and it came out this deep blue/green (not appealing to the eye at all) color that immediately caught me off guard. I thought I’d give it a chance and it tasted extremely syrupy and an odd flat cola taste. I think it was called something about “death”. I do not recommend and so I sent it back and tried another cocktail that too was a weird blue color and that too was syrupy and at that point I requested orange juice to dilute it and tasted like “Sunny D” or some off brand orange juice dupe. My guy had a mango frozen margarita and it too was disgusting because it was nothing but purée or whatever mango mixture syrup at the bottom of the glass and it was impossible to mix in the glass to incorporate into a frozen drink. My son did enjoy the Philly steak, it was devoured quickly. The last thing that really rubbed me the wrong way was my guy was settling the tab and my son decided last minute that he wanted a order of wings to-go. So I placed that order and placed down $20 cash, which was for a tip because I was waiting for my daughter to make up her mind if she wanted a to-go as well. My intent was to pay for the to-go’s via bank card. The server looking frustrated preceded to ask if I needed change. I politely told her that I didn’t need change of about $6. She didn’t give me an opportunity to properly tip her by being hasty and asking and we were still seated and finishing up and placing orders. I felt rushed and so in my mind, “You get, what...

The Buffalo wings tend to be too fatty. We used to get burgers from here, and they used to be excellent. Tonight, my wife and daughter and her family ordered burgers. I had to repeat myself several times--American Cheese, no cheddar. When cheddar cheese melts it is oily and tends to separate. Seven burgers...all came with cheddar cheese. They've also changed their fries, not as good as they once were. I ordered bacon cheeseburger, plain. The bacon (or the burger, not sure which) was saturated with black pepper. Some may like that but most wouldn't. On top of that, when ordering, we had two separate orders. My wife and I and my son-in-law who would order for his family. I told the girl my son-in-law had an order after mine, but after taking my order , she went to the far end of the bar and was laughing and joking with another server. We had to get a different server to get the first girl's attention to come back to take the second order. I recently attempted to order from Mr. Wing for deliver like I have done so in the past to a large business in the area. I spoke to a young lady who stated they deliver to the area I described is a large business in the Columbus,Ga area a mile from their restaurant. I took orders and called back and spoke to "MiMi" she stated that some drivers deliver and some do not. I explained to her I have received deliver from their establishment in the past. She explained that it was the preference of the driver, which at this time was the owner, whom stated he could not travel to our facility a mile from his location. I asked to speak to the driver/owner in which she stated he is busy and would not receive my call.

The service I received was extremely poor and by humoring their poor customer service we allow this type of customer service to validated. So please do not eat at this restaurant simple by the poor example of the owner of this restaurant and the poor training of...
