Five Guys — Restaurant in Columbus

I stopped at the Five Guys Burgers and Fries on Bethel Rd. today 4-28-2019 because I had really wanted a "hamburger-and-fries" meal today.

I asked several questions at the ordering counter before making any decisions regarding food and quickly learned that the word "little" actually refers to a size that I would call "regular."

So I ordered a "Little Cheeseburger" [rather than a "Cheeseburger" that I would have called a "Double Cheeseburger"]; I also ordered a "Regular Fries" [rather than a "Little Fries" or a "Large Fries"] that had been absolutely huge.

The twelve-ounce beverage container into which they had placed the "Regular Fries" had been filled with 1½ that amount of fries; thankfully that beverage container had been placed into a paper bag with the result that none of the fries had spilled outside of the bag.

The "Regular Fries," by the way, had been absolutely delicious so I am very glad that I had ordered such a large serving.

The next time I return to Five Guys Burgers and Fries, I may forego the hamburger [that definitely had not been my favorite hamburger and I have eaten many hamburgers in my life] and order just another...

I always order ahead. I use the little buttons for on my way and arrived. I still never get out of there with my order in any less than 10 minutes.

Today I stepped right up to the counter and the employees didn't even acknowledge that I was there. No one asked me the name on my order. I just waited around, watched AT LEAST six other people approach the counter in the exact same manner that I had, and got their to-go orders. After several minutes, I was handed a bag that was not mine. I let the employee know the name that should be on my order and he walked away without a word. He stood at the opposite end of the counter for a while, then came back and handed me my bag of food from the upper shelf above the fries. I was present when that bag was placed up there, soon after I had arrived and long before those other customers were helped. I should have had my food so much sooner.

This is not a one time experience. Something like this has happened every time (that is, 3-4 times) I've ordered at...

So I ordered from the Five GuysAnd when I got my food, a veggie melt and vanilla mikshake. When i was drinking my milk shake something got into my mouth . i spit it out inti a napkin and when i looked at it i realized what it was, a scab with mucus atttached to it. I did the reasonable thing andcalled the store, the manager i called and Ivy answered and gave me a nogus email to contact. I quickly realized it was wrong. So I called back and Luis answers. He is adamant about not telling the GM simply because "it wouldn't be a pretty picture" to wake them up. I was very pushy about it but he kept denying that he could call her. Instead of hanging up he stayed on the line and started being extremely rude. I could hear them talking about me, calling me rude and annoying for calling back. So if alled back again to get a straight answer only for Luis to say "we're busy ma'am"...
