I’m not sure what went wrong but it was unpleasant experience for us. First, we didn’t get water. We were the only customers when we got there , so we thought “It’s one of those restaurants where you need to ask for water if you want” but other customers came in and they got water. Second, my husband didn’t get his side for his meal. He ordered the LaShish Gyro and the menu says choose one side: salad, fries, rice, soup or soft drink. The server didn’t ask him about the side. I got the chicken lemon soup which is on the menu as an individual item but it’s possible that the server assumed the soup was my husband’s side. We should’ve asked him about it but I still think he should’ve asked my husband about the side. At last, we heard the microwave sound after we ordered our food which made us a little uncomfortable that they probably warmed up my soup in the microwave. This one is not a big deal. The server person was really friendly with other customers which seemed like they knew each other. I’m really disappointed about the experience I had today because the food wasn’t bad and I wanted to try other items on the menu, however, I wouldn’t want to go back there...
Read moreWe decided to try this place for lunch today. I absolutely love Greek food and frequent many restaurants in and around the city of Columbus. I decided to go with a simple gyro with fries and a side order of falafel. My boyfriend went with the shish kabob meal. Something we order a lot from various Greek restaurants. Both of our meats were fatty and chewy. The fries were soggy and cold. Although we did not eat the fries right away, we often get fries from Greek restaurants and eat them when we get home. I could tell these fries were not fresh when packaged to go. The falafel seemed over cooked. They also had a fishy taste and smell. I love falafel and was going to try to eat it however I could not stomach the taste. We ate as much as we could since we spent over $40 on this lunch, live 20 minutes away from this restaurant, with working from home did not have time to return, and do not like to waste food. The service was friendly. If you decide to try out this restaurant, my suggestion would be to check your food before you leave. I was disappointed with my meal and was unable to return for a remedy. I would not recommend this restaurant, nor...
Read moreJust dropped in to taste Greek cuisine there and it turned out nice altogether. Situated near a crowded road like Bethel Rd in Columbus, this small restaurant is a much-sought after for food delivery. I chose dine-in and there were more than atleast six-seven customers showed up for pick-up. Then there were two more people like me who chose to dine-in. All the people working in the restaurant are very cordial and more of like known neighbors. I ordered chicken soup, lamb kabobs which comes with rice - steamed cauliflower and broccoli - sautéd onion and green bell peppers - carrots. The soup had a nice lemon flavor and tangy taste. Kabobs were juicy, cauliflower and broccoli was perfectly steamed, crunchy and not overcooked, rice had a butter aroma. There were two desserts displayed that night and I chose 'vanilla custard' as they said so. In the bill I found out the dessert was printed as 'Galaktaburiko'. It had a flaky outer layer garnished with ground cinnamon and powdered sugar with a filling of a type of pie and the whole thing had a little sugar syrup coating. That was of huge size with atleast 3 servings. Overall wonderful...
