so i'm gonna lead with the only "negative" (and it's not even THAT bad): i think our waiter thought we were a little weird for not drinking. partner and i are both sober so we were just going for good eats. that being said, this place seems hip enough that they'll offer more nonalcoholic options, especially with that becoming far more popular lately. with that out of the way. i've never been here, and with many other saturday night options slammed thanks to UFC, the crew game, and whathaveyou, we decided to swing by with google maps saying it wasn't as busy. and though it was still pretty packed, we got a seat immediately, no problem. i will say that it is a campus bar -- so if you aren't down with college kids and modern hip-hop, you may not like it as much. but i didn't mind the vibe at all, and even with that, it's not the main event. no, the main event really is the drink selection. i may not partake anymore, but the taplist, the house cocktails, the selection of shots, they've got it all. whether you're looking for a cheap basic or something new and adventurous, they have something for you. what we came for was the food -- and lemme tell ya, they got that too. we both had burgers, but it seems like all of their sandwiches are S tier. there's something about the presentation, the selections made in accoutrements and condiments, that melds so well with the campus bar environment. being here really does make you feel like you're back in your college days. i probably wouldn't have thought much of this place without coming here myself. but this is not just another campus bar. Fourth Street Taproom doesn't seem like a place willing to settle for average -- and if you don't either, no matter what day of the week, you should give this place a look.

Fourth Street Taproom & Kitchen is a beloved spot that holds a special place in my heart, especially from my days living on E 18th Ave with my roommates. This cozy, welcoming bar quickly became our go-to hangout, thanks to its fantastic food, great drinks, and unbeatable atmosphere. The Bosco sticks are a must-try—cheesy, warm, and perfectly paired with marinara sauce—while the BBQ wings are smoky, tender, and absolutely delicious. Every bite feels like comfort food done right. What really sets Fourth Street Taproom apart is its amazing outdoor space. The back patio is spacious and inviting, complete with cornhole boards that make for endless fun when the weather is nice. It’s the perfect place to relax with friends, enjoy a cold drink, and soak up the lively vibe. Over time, it’s become a tradition for us to kick off March Madness here. The energy during the games is electric, with plenty of screens, great drink specials, and a crowd that’s just as passionate about sports as we are. Whether you’re there for the food, the games, or just a good time, Fourth Street Taproom & Kitchen never disappoints. It’s a true neighborhood gem!

The BEST place in Columbus to visit for breakfast, brunch, lunch and drinks!! Love love the vibes! The boneless honey Barbecue wings are To Die For!!! And if you love ranch...this is the place for you! They also have a chipotle mayo which is yummy on the burgers. This is my Columbus go to! They have trivia, happy hours, concert specials like the Buckeye Country Superfest specials, bands and more. Bathrooms are kept clean too. I also thoroughly love their breakfast and mimosa flight with different juices. Their drinks are strong and do not feel watered down. They actually have 2 bars which is nice for busy days. There is an outside patio too. They have tables, booths, and high tables to sit at and a server will come to your table. I've actually found Street parking every time I visited with no problem. Tonight, we got the appetizer platter and drinks.

Horrible service Stopped in as we were walking by for a bite and a drink. Grabbed a table inside, even asked the server if we seat ourselves or wait. She said yep, just grab any table you want, so we did. Sat there for over ten minutes and not one person even stopped to say hi.. or someone will be with you shortly. Just completely ignored by numerous servers that walked by us. Place was maybe half full at best. Plenty of staff on too and they weren't that busy. If they are that unaware of their customers then I would imagine if you do get a server, they wouldn't be much better.. first impressions are everything in restaurants and this place stinks.

Street parking, table and bar seating as well as some bench style seating. Table service. Everyone friendly. Could use some cleaning. Took a while to get acknowledged but service good from then on. Got onion petals (Forgot to take a photo before I ate some) and a veggie burger with fries, sode of the carolina reaper sauce. Everything was alright in flavor. I like the carolina reaper sauce, it's spicy but its a vingar based sauce. So if you like crystal but wish it was more spicy, this is what you should get. Nothing great nothing bad, an alright place with friendly service and a fairly good selection on tap.

I don’t give 5 stars often- thankfully we left the crazy area of short north on a Saturday and found this. Turkey melt was delicious! And decent prices too. Beer a lil pricey at $6. But not bad. Fries were bangin too! Def some college kids getting a little rowdy but overall my kinda vibe. Everyone was super nice from the dude bartender with the stache to the waitress outside and the young doorman. Everyone was super friendly. One student at the bar gave up his seat next to him for me as my gf and I sat down. lol we’re 35 years old soo not old timers but we sure felt like it walking down short north.
