Buckeye Pizza — Restaurant in Columbus

To start the people are hard to understand on the phone and I had to repeat myself multiple times. We order a pep pizza, pep calzone, mild wings, and a burger, the order was read back to me and was correct. The delivery was fast but they forgot the pizza and the guy said that it wasn't on our receipt. The delivery guy was nice and said he would go back and get a pizza but I was charged for it again. Also the burger was only supposed to have cheese and lettuce but came with everything on it and the person who got it couldn't have the other things. We called back and asked for a new burger but the man didn't understand what we were talking about so we spoke to someone else and everything was figured out.

As far as the quality of the food goes, the pizza, calzone, and burger were good but not the best, but the wings weren't cooked all the way ( pink, sometimes bloody center) and the wing sauce smelled and tasted like sweet and sour sauce.

Honestly, I probably won't order...

My wife had a doordash order through them for a calzone. The calzone was doughy still so it wasn't cooked all the way. But we come back up to replace it and the cockeyed clerk asked us "what we want him to do about it" I told him to make us another 1 or give us our money back. He tries to take the old 1 after he picked through it and put it back in the oven as he's telling me we have to get our reimbursement through door dash but I told him to make a fresh 1 and I'll throw my current 1 away. He wanted to charge us but we went back & forth about the order cause I wasn't going to let him do us like that. I ordered 2 dozen buffalo wings from them via UberEats. I asked for ranch dressing and celery on 2 separate items, and requested that they call me if it was an extra charge or not available. I got my wings and there was 20 of them, not 24. And there was no ranch.

They are pretty light on sauce. Some wings barely have any on them. And from handling them when counting them, there are several that seem to be on the dry side. But I’ll know more when I eat them.

I’ll update this review when I get some ranch for the wings and can actually eat them. The one star is thus far based solely off of their service. But so far, I’m not thrilled.
