Will cancel order through whatever delivery app. Also when you order on their website they serve people in the store before taking your web order you places more then 45 mins prior. Learn to run a business! Trying to support local, halal places, but you make it hard to do. Also working without gloves, hair protection or masks. Edit after restaurant reply:
Thanks for the reply, glad you are striving for success and wish you well. I understand the labor shortage well, this is not an issue with that. This review was after having interacted with the restaurant about half a dozen times. Each time the experience is similar. Either no gloves, or no changing gloves between orders. Never have masks or hair protection of any sort. Have also had orders cancelled when ordered via a delivery app, also on my list visit to pick up in person after ordering via website, I overheard two employees looking on the myriad of tablets to try to figure out how to cancel orders that were coming in via one of the delivery apps. The food has always been good, which is why I went back so many times. The last time I walked in there, I had placed an order via the website 45 mins prior to arriving at the restaurant. The workers were not working on any orders when I arrived, and where unaware of my order. They began working on it, told me they were waiting on a particular type of protein to be ready, then a walk in customer arrived and ordered the same thing and then they served that customer immediately. Read moreI experienced the worst customer service i have ever seen from the bold guy that was making shawarma. I didn’t see name tags to get his name. I arrived at 8:54 and they shut the door right after i have arrived saying that they close at 9 pm and somehow a customer managed to join the line 10 minuets later. There was a very long line and it took me over 30 minutes to get 2 chicken shawarmas which is fine. The problem is that they gave the guy that came after me his four sandwiches and let him go and i had to wait for the sandwich presser to free up before they can get mine ready. When i asked them if that customer ordered ahead of time and if that’s why he received his order first? The bold guy immediately said he had flafel that’s why! I said no he didn’t he had chicken too. He aggressively and loudly said well I didn’t make your order! I was surprised to hear that and I asked them if they work individually? He said yes we work in two different restaurants and our cashier is outside around the corner! I asked him to stop yelling and to not disrespect me because I didn’t insult him in anyway for him to show that type of reaction. He said well you show up after 9 you should be happy we even received your order. He added, we have been fasting and we are here feeding you and preparing your food when we haven’t even eaten anything yet. The two other employees that were around apologized on behalf of him. Read moreCustomer service was great but I'm thinking because they knew product wasn't at its best. Got a bowl double meat with lamb n shwarma. Lamb definitely needed more time and definitely wasn't half n half. The chicken I got was hard amd we had to literally pull prices out our mouths. I would've waited for more to be made if given the option. Heard great reviews and that's why I tried it. Again customer service was great but maybe get there first thing cause what I got a hour and half b4 close will not bring me back. Overlay disappointed update: second attempt. Ordered through grub hub for lunch at work and it had quickest delivery time. We'll it won't be a third ot ever again time. Got my bowl.with absolutely no meat.
