Godfather's Pizza — Restaurant in Columbus

My mom had an awful experience here. She had a giftcard to Godfather's pizza and was told in a very rude and condescending manner that giftcards were not accepted as if she should have known. That wouldn't have been a problem, but my mom was made to feel ashamed she had even asked as if she should have known. She asked to pay with credit card and was mockingly told we don't take giftcards so of course we can't accept credit cards. My mom had to go find an ATM to get cash to pay for her pizza, but the worst part was how humiliated she was by how she was treated by the man who appeared to be the manager. In these times it is unusual to not have the option to pay with credit card so any place that doesn't have the option should make it clear to customers when they place an order over the phone. If I had read the other reviews about being cash and check only I would not have placed the order, it is 2022 and Columbus is not a small town. On top of the hassle of having to use their atm, and incurring extra fees for that, they were not pleasant with me when I expressed my dissatisfaction with them not telling me over the phone that cards were not accepted. I was not rude about it I simply said it would have been nice to have been informed of this beforehand, the employee simply said "well everyone knows we only take cash, like all the regulars". Would have been nice to know they dont take credit or bank cards before driving 20 minutes in only to find out I needed to go to the bank. Would have brought the cash from home had I known. I can only use us bank atm or I get charged 2 fees for 6 bucks. So I wait for the other 2 cars in front of me to finish. Now that I'm done n back at godfathers it's been 20 more minutes.
