I ate a delicious "late lunch" [or "early supper"] earlier today [9-30-2022] at Happy House Chinese Restaurant at 1267 W. Fifth Ave. in the "Fifth by Northwest" neighborhood of Columbus

I have eaten at Happy House Chinese Restaurant occasionally over the years; it had been quite a while since I had most recently eaten there.

My food choice earlier today had been House Fried Rice [served with chicken, pork, and shrimp]. At the ordering counter, I learned that there are two sizes of House Fried Rice [small and large] that are not mentioned on the website. I decided to order "small" because the price for "small" had matched the price that I had been expecting to pay based on what I had seen on the website.

While waiting for my food, I enjoyed walking around the small dining room and looking at the many images that have been painted onto the walls that greatly enhance the interior environment at Happy House Chinese Restaurant.

My House Fried Rice had been superbly delicious. I often order fried rice when I am at an Asian restaurant because fried rice is usually simple, quick, and inexpensive; the House Fried Rice that I had eaten at Happy House Chinese Restaurant had been far more delicious than I had been expecting.

If you are in the "Fifth by Northwest" neighborhood of Columbus and want to eat some delicious Chinese food in a "no-frills" restaurant that has quick service, I strongly recommend Happy House...

Have been getting food from here for some time. Used to be my family's go to spot for the spicy chicken wings, but what they did yesterday shocked me & I felt so disrespected. I ordered 2 large orders of the spicy chicken wings along with some other food. I normally pop the wings in the oven for a little bit for the extra crisp my husband and I like. Not these wings though. They gave us recooked day old chicken. You could tell by how it looked and how it tasted. It was burnt and dry looking and tasted super dry. It came off like some jerky, just tough. I can't tell you how much money we've spent at this establishment. But regardless of that, I'm bringing you my business. The least you can do is give me what I'm paying for, which definitely isn't recooked day old chicken. I ordered delivery through Grubhub tonight. Ordered Mongolian Chicken with Fried rice and only broccoli and green beans for veggies. I've done it this way for at least the last 3-4 orders and it's never been an issue. I have the receipts and order history to prove it. I've always received my food correctly.

Tonight though... tonight they called my husband and said no substitutions or changes. Fine, whatever. I'll handle what little bit of veggies are in there I don't like. But this... what I just got? This is BS and unprofessional. I literally received an entire to go container FULL of onions. I have half a small tupperware bowl of chicken from it. Very little. This is completely uncalled for. I would've understood some onions but this...
