Today is March 16th 2025. My mother, husband and I went today for the 1st time. The young gentlemen working was real sweet and honest. My mom wanted a mocha latte and he said "I'll be honest, I'm new and can't make it" we were cool and understanding with that. We would rather someone tell us they are new instead of lying and acting like they know what they are doing. We even joked with him saying "this is a great time to learn making it, we can wait". 😆 I even said " I can taste test it for you and let you know if it is good or bad". 😀 He did look it up in the menu/ingredient book but said they didn't have the milk. We were very understanding being a new employee and learning. We ordered something else. However, I would suggest to the owner to have their employees ready to go to serve the public before you leave them alone. Also, to have all the ingredients available. Other than that we enjoyed it. I had very high hopes for this Kilwins location as it's closer to my home than the downtown location. Store was busy tonight and they were out of alot of ice cream flavors. The ice cream we got was great. Service was good also.

However after we finished our desert we wanted a coffee. I asked employee if they offer coffee and she said yes. So I asked to order 2 caramel lattes and she says "ok, I've never made one so let me look up how to use the machine in the book". She then asks the other male employee and he also says he will have to look up how to make one. I passed on the coffee and went elsewhere. If they are going to offer coffee in their locations they need to be trained on...

My husband and I ordered a waffle bowl with 2 scoops. The ice cream was delicious but very small amount for the price. The waffle bowl was stale and could not be eaten. I also ordered 2 buckeye which I haven't touched yet but read some bad reviews on here. I will get some good ice cream from the grocery store and fresh waffle cones to go with it. Not...
