La'Sammich — Restaurant in Columbus

I can’t say enough good things about this place. We have tried the food truck and the restaurant and it’s always consistent. The food is DELICIOUS. 10/10. Even my picky 8 year old loves every single thing on the menu. He ate a taco with cilantro and onions and begged for more. The owner and the staff work so hard and it shows. We were greeted with warm smiles, taken care of perfectly, and our food was ready in minutes. We got so much food in our two meals that we were able to have it for lunch AND dinner. I fell in love with Lasammich from the food truck. I miss their carne asada tacos but their brisket is to die for. They are friendly and have been consistent in their food taste. The only hiccup was my to go order was full of oil. A lot of oil and that’s never been an issue before so my tacos were soaked and the to go box itself had a lot of oil in the bottom but in the year plus I’ve been eating with them that has never happened so I’m hopping it’s just a one off thing!!! Food was great and Diamond, the hostess/cashier, was amazing! The only thing that we didn’t like was that they apparently ran out of full size corn 5 hours before we got there but Diamond worked out a deal where we got two extra half corns. We wouldn’t have known that but one of the chefs in the back loudly and we thought rudely told Diamond “You know we ran out of full size corn 5 hrs ago!” Instead of having tact and simply asking Diamond what the order meant.
