Lan Viet — Restaurant in Columbus

The guy working the register was super rude and extraordinarily unhelpful. I ordered the noodle bowl with egg rolls and he gave me the bare minimum service like not even a smile so I was like whatever. However, then I tried to give my step dad a hug and the coffee I purchased from Bada bean Bada booze flew out of my hand onto the floor. The man at the register literally just stared at me while I tried to clean up the spill with paper towels. There was no one around with rags or anything so I had to grab paper towels from the fountain drink area. My aunt tried to help me clean up the spill by grabbing paper towels from the lan viet counter and the man at the register rudely pulled them away from her. Like what did you want us to do? Leave the spill there? Like it was extremely irritating because that guy didn’t offer to help get anyone to mop up the spill or anything. I was fine with trying to clean it up but there wasn’t anything around to clean it up with…? Luckily, the cashier from Bada bean Bada booze came all the way from her register to help us with rags. I was really hoping for a vibrant flavor experience, but I found the dishes disappointingly bland. I've visited many Vietnamese restaurants, and unfortunately, this one didn’t meet expectations. We ended up adding Sriracha just to give the food some life. Vietnamese cuisine is known for its vibrant flavors, and this fell short.
