Chicken Salad Chick — Restaurant in Grandview Heights

This location recently opened less than a mile from my home and I finally tried it - let me just say, I’m mad at myself for going on a Saturday evening since they are closed on Sunday’s! I got the trio - Dixie chick salad on the sandwich on toasted white. I don’t know how they do it, but the bread was a perfect mix of toasted-ness but still soft. It was also a full sized sandwich. For my second pick, I got a scoop of pimento cheese. It was great on the provided crackers, added to my sandwich and eaten alone off a fork. For my 3rd option I got the grape salad - when I tell you I cannot stop thinking about the grape salad - it was sooo delicious! Giant, perfect grapes in a cream cheese based sauce, topped with brown sugar and some finely chopped nuts. They even threw in a mini frosted sugar cookie (Cheryl’s makes them for them and I cannot resist those either!) I will be back on Monday for more! My trio was like $11 and I thought it was a very good value - I even had a good serving of pimento cheese left for a snack. I also got my husband a cup of the loaded potato soup - no picture of that, but he said it was absolutely delicious, and I thought very reasonably priced at 3.49 (you can also get a cup of soup as a side with any meal for no up-charge). My total take out bill was less than $14 Located across the street from the Sheetz in the newer strip, there’s plenty of free parking, THEY HAVE A DRIVE-THRU and there was ample seating inside - don’t sleep on this place for lunch, dinner, takeout ...

The employees in this location are so nice and patient. Every time I come in there is a wait (I never mind). From checking out to the kitchen staff everyone is working diligently to fill orders. However I would like to shout out the sweetest Employee DeShawn. Today we went through the drive-through lane, and he allowed me a place three different orders, which was very kind of him! He was also very patient with us as he took our orders, and he was overall pleasant when we got to the window to make payment. There was a busy rush. There were three cars behind us. Our first orders even got messed up and he made sure to have them fixed immediately.
