The park area is nice, but I recently returned to the forest area after about three years and I am so sad to see it in such a state of decline. There is erosion in the entire wooded area because the trails are not clearly marked and the foot traffic has destroyed all of the beautiful greenery on the forest floor. The trails that you can decipher are not mulched and severely eroded. I ran into local residents cleaning up and they also voiced their concerns about the health of this cherished green space. I saw adults on bicycles making their own trails and riding through the woods and destroying all of the vegetation. My guess is that this forest will be gone in about 10 years or less if the city doesn’t start to take better care of it. Grandview Heights needs to be better stewards of this forest. Taxpayers pay a lot to live here. The park is great as I said, but I am so sad to see the state that the...

Wyman is a classic park, with some modern touchs to make it feel truly apart of the neighborhood. A full jungle gym for children, a rec room to host birthdays, quinceanera's, even grandma's bingo nights, as well as a large field and forest to fit just about any outdoor activity, this park offers wide range of options for outdoor events. I even grill here on a beautiful day. Whatever you want out of a good, old fashioned park in the neighborhood, Wyman has it. Just make sure you bring ample drinks, food, and party favors if you plan on spending some time here. Traveling from the park to a store nearby will definitely hold up anyone's BBQ/ Frisbee tournament. Otherwise, a solid park to build...

We LOVE this play ground. My kids call it the "elevator park" because the piece that will slowly take you down to the ground. It's such a neat park that truly addresses a range of ages including adults. There are places to pick up a sand volley ball game, go for a small hike in the woods, play frisbee or fetch w your dog. There is a fun path round the playground to ride scooters and love there is a couple handicap accessible pieces too and even a bench swing for the parents!. Downsides: The bathrooms are sometimes locked. Not enough shade right by the playground and that rubber flooring gets hot and radiates the heat making it almost impossible to play on hot...

✨PARK SPOTLIGHT: Two playgrounds, less than five minutes apart! ✨
If one park isn’t enough, you’re in luck - Wyman Woods and McKinley Fields are less than five minutes apart, which makes them the perfect pair for a morning of park-hopping. 🌳 Wyman Woods: This park has a playground that’s best for older kids who love to climb and explore. Parents will appreciate the walking paths and big grassy areas that make it easy to stretch the visit beyond just playground time. ☀️ McKinley Fields: A calmer, more shaded option that’s perfect for younger kids. The playground is smaller, easier to manage, and often less crowded - which makes it a great choice for toddlers or families who prefer a slower pace. The added shade is a bonus on sunny days! Two parks, two playgrounds, double the fun! 🚗💨 #columbusmomsguide #columbusmoms #columbusohio #columbusoh #ohioblogger

We went to 📍Wyman Woods Park in Grandview, OH on like the best day possible. Cloudy cuz there was a chance for rain but no rain and a perfect 75 degree day! We had a great time checking out the playground! #grandviewohio

Nice little park! The main playground area has some climbing walls, an elevator-type thing, swings, rope climbing, and some big slides. Recommended ages 5-12 but my 3 and 1 year olds found stuff to do, and that have a swinging bench and traditional swings too. It also has wifi, restrooms, and water fountains. There are a few benches for picnicking and big trees so you can get some respite in the sun and heat. There's a trail nearby that has some steep spots but it's totally doable with kids. In the winter, there's a great hill for sledding! Not sure if any of the areas prohibit dogs or not; I didn't see any signs and we didn't see any dogs when we went.
