My 1 star review is based solely on one visit. My last one. I have been going to the Wynnton Road location for several years now. Food is decent and they are never busy. This visit tho, I was seated, order taken, I asked for the same dish I usually get but asked if I could get it without meat. It usually has a lot for me. Server said I could, I asked if I still had to pay for the meat and eggs or if I could take it off my total, she said I could. If she had said no, that's OK, I would just change my order to a veggie dish. She never came back to the table after I got my meal. I waited for a condiment I like with the dish, but ate it without it. I then waited for an extra 30 minutes to leave. Never saw my server until last minute. I got up and went to the desk to pay instead of waiting on her at the table. Price for my meal was the same. I asked about it and the manager said we don't do that. If you don't want something you just don't get it. He had a calm but rude attitude. Never raised his voice be basically did not care. He offered me finally 2 dollars off in a tone like I was a begger. It wasn't necessarily about the money. I told him I wasn't coming back and he was like okay, have a nice night lady. I paid $25.00 for a dish of just rice, sauce and a few bell peppers. I will NEVER go back. I am never any trouble and always tip well. The manager's attitude and the servers inattentiveness was all I needed.
Reply I see how you argue with your bad reviews instead of taking ownership. You handled something simple very badly. You could have completely turned a bad thing around for me as a faithful customer who normally comes in with other people but was by myself that night. A little humility and kindness would do you well. You are one of the most arrogant managers I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. I can make that dish at home for 1/3 of the cost and just as good. You can't excuse your failure to help a customer in order to make you...
Read moreI don't know what the buzz is about this place but it is not good as the reviews make it out to be. I went there for my birthday, it's supposed to be a day of celebration, instead we were greeted with disgusting food. We had ordered the Panang curry, Nigri sushi, and the basil fried rice with scallops. We also ordered a cosmo martini, a bloody mary, thai tea. The Panang curry had a very strong and sweet coconut taste. It was overpowering and outright pungent. The vegetables were thick cut and not sautéed enough so they were extremely crunchy. It tasted like a coconut-soup salad. Don't get me started on the potatoes that were inside the curry. They were not fresh at all. You know when you boil potatoes and you eat them right away? How they are fresh, delicate, and disintegrate in your mouth? Well, they were nothing like that. Instead they tasted and felt like they boiled them two days ago. The sushi was flavorless as well, the composition of the rice was not solid. The sushi kept falling apart and the vegetables were not fresh at all. The side of white rice was harshly boiled and bland. The friend rice didn't even have a hint of basil and the scallops... tasted like mystery meat. Additionally, they simply would not break down. You would have to chew for an eternity on that piece of rubber before the slightest piece would break-off. In regards to the drinks; if I wanted a tomato smoothie I could have gone to smoothie king. Seriously, that things was all tomato and .000001% alcohol. The thai tea was nothing but syrup, ice, and water. It was so sweet I could have gotten diabetes. The only thing that was good was the cosmo as it helped me wash down my disappointment and sorrow with this place. For all that they charged me 63.49. For what? If I could go back I would let them know what was on my mind and not pay at all. Totally disappointed. would not recommend at all but hey if you want to take a shot at...
Read more1 star because the building was clean and tidy. Sunday afternoon my husband and I decided to pick up dinner and wanted pho. Our usual place was closed so we decided to try Lemongrass. We had searched google for pho in Columbus, Ga, and this one was the 2nd or third listing after Uptown Viet. We went in around 8pm and were treated like criminals. The young redhead girl snapped at the two young men at the counter when they asked a question about a side. Then she sighed heavily when she noticed us waiting and asked sharply if we were dining in. I asked if we could do take out. She rolled her eyes and said I'll check the time. I'm not sure why she'd have to check the time to see if we could get a take out order, since they were still seating customers. I took a menu to look at while the other customers at the counter finished up. When I couldn't find pho on the menu, I asked the young lady. Again she rolled her eyes and rudely said "no that's Vietnamese food. We aren't Vietnamese." I was annoyed by her tone, but apologized and said that I had seen a couple of reviews in their google page that stated pho. This young lady had the nerve to tell me "no it doesn't." I pulled up the review page and pointed out where they had stated it. She scoffed and said "well they are probably too stupid to know any better." Wow, this is how this restaurant treats customers?. Especially when the same review said they come often. She said they probably got a seafood soup and we could get that instead. I politely declined and we walked out. Initially, we were going to stay and order something else, but her attitude ruined it. We may try going to the second location near Texas Roadhouse, but we definitely won't come back to this location or encourage anyone else to. I hope the managers/owners see this and rectify the situation. This girl will ruin...
