Overflo Salon and Barber Shop — Local services in Columbus

I love the atmosphere and professionalism of the barbers and hairstylists at Overflo. I've never felt such peace in a salon, and I've spent over half my life in various salons. There's ample seating, relaxing contemporary music playing (nothing vulgar), and good programming on TV (again, nothing vulgar). The shop is clean, products are stocked, and there are refreshments you can buy that are nicely priced. Although I didn't have my hair done on this initial visit (I took the boys from the group home were I work for haircuts), I'll recommend to my supervisor that the boys return, because the time it took to cut nine heads was amazingly quick!...

The overall atmosphere of the shop is amazing, but be wary of who you go to. My barber ( Frank I assume was his name, an older gentleman) seemed a little distracted by what was going on around him to notice the horrible job he was doing on my beard. It's like I have two different things on in my face, not to mention he didn't follow my request and proceeded to do as he pleased with my facial hair. This is why I mainly stay away from shops cause most barbers tend do their own thing. Outside of being quoted two different prices, the "owner" or manager came and somewhat saved the transaction.
