Lieu's Asian Cuisine — Restaurant in Columbus

6/22/23...We ate inside today. I've always been a big fan of Lieu's. Large portions, service is prompt and reasonable prices. However I have to say we won't be dining inside anymore! Still serving their food on paper plates, plastic (cheap) utensils. I am very much disappointed they haven't come away from the 2020 pandemic!!!

Had Lieu's for lunch today. Very good service and food! I was told today they're going to be closed 4/9/23- 5/15/23... We're going to miss them!!

7/25/22.... I placed a large birthday lunch order for carry out. We had numerous items from egg rolls, steamed dumplings and crab rangoon and 5 different lunches. They had it all correct and ready for pickup on time!! I truly appreciate their family owned and operated business! Thank you Lieu's 😋🎉🥳😊

Ordered advanced pickup via Grubhub. I arrived at the specified pickup time and food hadn’t even been started. Okay. Twiddle thumbs and wait. Grumble. Why bother with order in advance? Whatever. Get home and the entree provided was not what I ordered. Called to straighten out and immediately I get arguments from the owner that what I ordered isn’t on their menu. Ummm okay, but I ordered it off the menu. So they subbed in whatever they felt like without saying a word. I was sitting right there!! The subbed dish was inedible (and vegetarian to boot), the remaining food I ordered was completely tasteless and shoddily prepared. To the owner: if you are going to allow your service to be this poor at least update your online ordering menus to be accurate rather than accusing your patrons of ordering incorrectly and arguing. My receipt is all the proof I need to show it is your mistake and mistakes should be fixed quickly...

I ordered Beef Pho Noodle Soup. There was NO beef taste too the broth (mostly sweet, with a hint of perfumey almost soap taste), very little beef, and, a couple sliced meatballs which I did not want.

Also, the beef seemed to be precooked (well done) rather than simply placed into the hot broth raw, which is much tastier 🙁

I'm sad, it doesn't live up to the reviews which lead me to come here to try the Pho.

For the fairly high price ($13), I expected more.

$13 is a lot to pay for lunch, yet, I am so unsatisfied that I will have to go somewhere else to get something different (or, just be sad).

Oh, I almost forgot - the one slice of lime was not enough as it was rather dry. I suppose I could have asked for more, but, not much point, I'll just...
