Food was amazing. First and foremost.
My s/o called in our order. We both ordered a steak quesadilla. We are not from here so upon reading the menu carefully, which I should have before I called that is absolutely true. I realized there was beans inside of the quesadillas. It had literally been two minutes since we had called and place the order and my SO called back to ask if we could have the beans on the side instead of inside. the gentleman that answered the phone sighed very hard into the phone and said OK and then hung up. No Iāll see what I can do or anything like that. Just hung up. . He calls us back two minutes later telling us that the quesadillas have already been made and that we basically have to take them or leave them pretty much and hang up on us again. Now he told us that the order was going to take 10 minutes, so please tell me how our quesadillas were finished after two minutes of us calling and asking to not have beans in them. Second of all the gentleman that answered the phone and called us all three times just had poor customer service. Iāve worked a many restaurants. Iāve been a manager of many restaurants so when I went inside, and I told him, very politely, may I add that his customer service needed work. I did not get an apology. I did not get anything. And Iām not expecting free food, but if Iām paying for food, I expect to get what I wanted. We all work very hard for our money and I do understand that the service industry is not for the weak, but if youāre going to do it have the personality to do it. So this gentleman couldāve been having an off night either way he should definitely be coached on how to properly treat a customer. I think Iām more upset about the way he handled it than actually paying for the quesadilla. As I said before, I just moved from New Orleans, and it was later in the evening, so when I ordered my food, I just ordered it. So I can take the blame on that. But I feel like two minutes after placing my order it should be able to be modified. If a customer ever came to me with such a request, it wouldāve been handled properly and the way the guest wanted it. It sucks because the food was actually really great, but I donāt think that I will be giving them my money ever again just because of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe ingredients are all here for this place to be 5 stars but some work is needed. The food seemed fresh, decor was very nice. But upon entering there isn't any signs near the door to indicate if you are to seat yourself or wait. The staff ignored us just talking amongst themselves while we were at the door awkwardly waiting. Eventually we saw the signs in the back corner of the restaurant that say order here. So we ordered. We were given one of those vibrating disc's to indicate our food was done, which was confusing because the table next to us had their food delivered by a waitress. When it vibrated I went up and noticed they also vibrated 3 other tables at the same time. So there was a small crowd at the pickup bar and nobody knew who's food belonged to who. The person giving the food out could hardly speak English and wasnt capable of clearly and confidently communicafing whos dish was sitting on the bar.
I ordered a quesadilla and the girl behind me grabbed it and started to walk away. I didn't stop her because I've never seen a quesadilla that was a single small flour tortilla with ingredients on top. Usually there's 2 tortillas or 1 folded tortilla so I figured it was a taco for someone else. The guy said hey to the girl and pointed at me. She sits it back down. I told him I ordered a quesadilla and he again points at the same dish and that's when the girl behind me grabs the plate again to take it. It was pure confusion and annoying to have random people touching my food. Had there been better communication none of this would have happened. I just took the food even though it looked wrong. I wasn't given any silverware so I had to go back up and ask for if.
When eating, the ingredients all seemed fresh but every dish was bland. Taquitos = bland. Taco AL Pastor = bland. Chips = bland. Quesadilla = bland. Chicken taco = bland. Where is the seasoning? The horchata was very good but come on guys season your food while cooking. You have all these fresh ingredients now add...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been eating here since they were just a little taco truck and have never once been disappointed. They have the most amazing tacos al pastor. My only complaint I have is that they won't open a location next door to my house. Keep doing what you're doing guys, it's perfect.
The atmosphere was vibrant, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The highlight, though, was the food ā truly authentic Mexican flavors that transported me to the streets of Mexico.
The tacos were a standout, bursting with freshness and perfectly seasoned. The variety of meats and toppings allowed me to customize my order to perfection. The salsas added an extra kick and complemented the dishes beautifully.
The portions were generous, ensuring that every bite was a satisfying experience. The prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food served. Los Guachos has undoubtedly become my go-to spot for delicious and authentic Mexican cuisine in Columbus.
I highly recommend Los Guachos to anyone looking for a genuine taste of Mexico right here in Ohio. Can't wait to return and explore more...
