Update: This location has drastically improved over the year and a half that I have now been in Columbus. Still not a perfect experience but definitely much better. If the service was a little faster and the parking lot wasn't littered with homeless people it would have gotten five stars.
Original review: If I could get below one star I would. Arrived at this location at 10:30 p.m. an hour and a half before their closing time. The whole restaurant was super dark aside from light coming from the kitchen windows and three cars in the Drive-Thru. Automatically left the impression that all of the drive-up stalls were closed even though it was during normal business hours. So we reluctantly pulled up to the drive-thru. Again very dark aside from the cars in front of us idling with their lights on and the menu sign. Sat there for a total of 20 minutes, the first five just waiting to be greeted. That greeting was only received after I repeatedly inquired to as if they were even open. The greeting that I got in return was short clipped and rude, stating in to give her a few minutes. Over the next 15 minutes she never returned to take our order or update us on why we were waiting, and none of the other three cars moved an inch. At the end of the night we ended up having to drive 13 miles into Alabama to find a Sonic that was interested in doing business. Read moreI went to this Sonic not too long ago today, around 10:30ish I would say. I did an online order to be picked up at one of stalls before arriving to Sonic. The app said that my order should be out at 10:48pm. While waiting at one of the stalls, I noticed another customer waiting outside of the Sonic building at their door, trying to get an employees attention. Now, I went back onto my phone and I had an earbud in. Until, my mother-in-law got my attention because an employee was yelling something out to us. I couldn't hear the employee, so I rolled down my window. The employee repeated herself again, but i still couldn’t hear her again. While I was taking my earbud out, the other customer that was waiting outside told me what she had said. But the employee still repeated herself again (I can tell she was yelling this whole time when she was repeating herself and her body language looked mad). She yelled 'THE STALLS ARE CLOSED!'. I wasn't rude to her or anything. I simply let her know that I did make an online order. But she yelled at me again and said 'THE STALLS RE CLOSED! YOU HAVE TO GO THROUGH DRIVE-THRU!'.
Her attitude was completely uncalled for. I can understand jobs and customers can be stressful, but that's no excuse to speak to a customer like that. Especially when I was nothing but nice to her. (I don't know the girl's name, but all I know she was short, white, blonde hair girl with a ponytail.)

Read moreAfter we waited forever, in line, at the drive thru... we ordered 2 strawberry slushes. We were told they didn't have ice. There is a bunch of people employed, but not working. This place is a joke. We went and got gas station icee's, and they were better and cheaper....and, FAST! Just sayin' *After reading some of the reviews.... I'm amazed this place doesn't have a 1 star rating. It is consistently bad. Approximately, 2 years ago, it was a great and fast place ... our local "go to" fast food place. The workers were friendly and fast. And, the orders were accurate and tasted good. ..... Now, service is terrible. It's chaos. Is the drive thru open? Are the stalls open? Basically, no one ever comes, to take the order. Always long lines, but does anyone actually receive food or drinks. I love how there seems to be a generic message, from the manager, to escalate the complaint... maybe, that's the problem. Does anyone in management know what goes on or doesn't go on, at this location? Maybe, go see for yourself/secret shopper... It's awful/terrible service.
