Was excited to try what sounded great in terms of a solid unique breakfast and coffee option on my way to work that wasn't the McDonalds or Wendy's nearby. Had also hyped up the place to a coworker since we tend to get lunches ordered for the office a couple times a week, and thought this would be a great local option instead of of our typical chain restaurant choices around. Got in, no menu displayed anywhere and when it was my turn I asked if they had cappuccino, which is advertised on the website (but inside there were not any coffee machines other than just a generic coffee dispenser, hence why I asked) and the lady at the counter said no. I asked what options do they have available from what's listed on the website. She thought I was asking for the menu which, great, but when she pulled out a piece of paper with what looked like it had far fewer options than what I had seen online, began crossing off a LOT of the items including several of the sandwiches, which I had also intended to order. I said thank you and instead left and ended up going to the Wendy's next door. I don't doubt the food they do have available is probably delicious or that the service is good, but I was just put off by the majority of what is advertised not actually being offered. Doesn't exactly make someone want to spend money at your establishment. Was pretty...
Read moreI know some Spanish but if you are not fluent I would recommend a different place. I didn’t understand how to place an order and online ordering was not available.i went in for churros. Online it said churros were 1.50 and it said caramel /vanilla. She charged me 2$ per churro and i tried to ask about the caramel but she said cream on the inside. The worker also took others orders that came after me instead of helping me. And I believe she made a joke about me due to my lack of Spanish . She looked at me and laughed with the people next to me but I didn’t get the joke. The churros are not made fresh . Very cold but still decent flavor . I will warm up at home. I doubt I would return. I do appreciate the culture and food but this was not a good experience . Poor...
Read moreUnless you know fluent Spanish and are part of the hispanic community, it can feel intimidating coming here and a little awkward. The menu isn’t readily available inside and the staff isn’t very helpful when it comes to ordering. I wouldn’t call establishment clean either, there’s a lot of debris on the floor. They rebranded to an english name to draw in more costumers, but I don’t think they’re following through very well. With that being said, the food is amazing, the mixed sandwich is huge and delicious. It’s worth some awkwardness trying to order. They also have tres leche cake that you cannot pass on. It’s sad that some of the poor executions are getting in the way of what should be an amazing...
