Taco Bell — Restaurant in Columbus

Arrived around 12:30 for some lunch, because I am an idiot. I should have driven an extra mile to eat something less hideous, but oh well. They were pretty busy so I went inside and took my time ordering. Everyone who worked there was quite nice and accommodating, though it was clear they were backed up and/or understaffed. I ordered my usual, the Mexican pizza with tacos supreme combo and it arrived pretty quickly. I thought the tostada-shell thing they make the Mexican pizzas on tasted kind of weird but just sort of resigned myself to a crappy lunch at the time because, again, I am an idiot. I went on with my day, disappointed but, you know, it's Taco Bell, so what did I expect?

Warning: some grossness ahead

Fast forward a few hours and I have the WORST food poisoning I've ever had in my life. I pride myself on my iron stomach. Things that have given other people upset tumtums in the past have never been a problem for me. But I've been running to the toilet every 10 minutes for over 2 hours. Occasionally I will belch and when I do I can taste the weird flavor I tasted in the Mexican pizza shell (which I have never tasted at any other Taco Bell). I am in misery. I have repented and promise to only eat lunches that consist of actual food from now on. Learn from my mistakes....

9 times out of 10, I leave a pretty great review. I try to leave decent information, and give people the benefit of the doubt. However, this place charged me for tax even though they KNEW it was "to go". A manager did this! It's disgusting how some people treat others. I don't care if it's an additional "measly" .80¢. That's money that I don't have for my kids now. So thanks a lot. (Obviously that's sarcasm). Also, there's a "homeless" beggar that's always asking for money outside this particular store. He got one over on me, but he won't be doing it again. He asks for and takes money & food, then hides it, while asking other people for food and money -- telling them that he has nothing! He lies. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for helping others. But this man is out there every day. And it makes me AVOID this particular location. My visit to this location left a bitter taste in my mouth, metaphorically speaking. I would not recommend going to this location until they make some adjustments and get rid of the "Riff Raff". This location was terrible, quite possibly the worst interaction with any food chain (like taco bell). Their "systems went down. But there were random cars in front of me getting their orders... I try to ask why, and suddenly the "manager" just acted like an aggressive thug. Answering any question I had with, "it ain't your problem bruh, don't worry who's the manager, look up the location, it ain't your problem bruh..." with one or two other insults as i drove off (that I'll exclude to keep it PG). What a bizarre experience, honestly. Beware everyone. I'd stay away based on that alone. 100% the worst service (if you could even call it that). 🤦🏻🤦‍♀️. Corperate needs to raise their hiring bar. As well as teach their employees that they're working at a taco bell, and will most likely need to have real, normal, polite conversations with normal people. They ain't banging on company time or...
