I'm not sure what's going on with HoneyBaked Ham they sell these slices for $13.99 and you get about 5 to 6 slices of ham they're already expensive but then they take the glaze off of the ham which is the reason why you come to get the ham anyway but the last couple of times that I have went in and bought this ham for some reason the taste was off like it was old and it looked more like scraps than it did slices of ham if you're going to sell $4 worth of ham for $14 at least it should be fresh and where is the glaze stop robbing people y'all make enough money to do the right thing by your customers stilltreatingthepubliclike we won't survive if they stop doing business my aunt is 94 and lives in a small town and doesn't like to travel so around the holidays I typically try to find something that I can take her to where she can have some good food and be at home and basically be able to help herself to it the cheapest hand was $70 and way too much of it but they sell slices but every location was acting like they couldn't sell me any slices so I drove from Gahanna to the location up in Polaris to the location out east and finally Polaris was my last stop and they decided to go ahead and take some slices off of a ham to sell to me but it's just unfortunate if you sell something already and you know that people are coming why not have somebody have it together they had a million workers to registers and everybody standing in line waiting if you going to have all these people put them to work and let people...
Read moreLet me start by saying that I realize we are in strained times due to Covid and running this type of business on Thanksgiving must be extremely challenging. However, I ordered a small turkey breast for four a week in advance, pre-paid and for curbside pickup. I arrived at my pickup time - 5:00 PM the day before Thanksgiving - and waited in the pickup line of cars for an hour. At that point, store associates came out and told everyone that they hadn't planned correctly and were already out of all turkey and ham. This is a major error, as there were numerous pickup windows scheduled for the rest of the evening meaning a number of other customers were left without turkeys and hams at the last minute. The manager was apologetic and processed refunds for those waiting in the car line - this incident likely speaks more to the company's ability (or lack thereof) to plan, especially when pre-ordered, pre-paid items can't even be kept in stock. If I go the prepared route next year, I'll just order from Whole Foods. Fortunately I only had to figure out a last minute replacement for four people, but I can imagine those who had placed orders for large groups are much more upset. Also, while the refund is the bare minimum the company needed to do, given the last minute panic they delivered to their customers right before Thanksgiving, an alternative at another location or a coupon to a local retailer to offset this issue would have been appropriate on top...
