Sakura Hawaii BBQ & Ramen — Restaurant in Columbus

I really wanted to like this place but my last order had a hair in it. My child pulled it off a piece of sushi. I sent my issue through uber eats hoping they would refund the order bc we could not eat it after that. They responded that bc the pic was of me holding the hair after the child gave it to me and not on the food specifically it didn't matter. None of us have short blonde hairs. I canceled my membership and will never eat here again, not bc a mistake was made but bc they refused to address it.

RESPONSE TO YOUR MESSAGE MACY: I paid for a service. I'm not concerned about nationality of the head the hair came from. To me it looks like a pet hair, reasonable to assume one of yall got a pet and have hair on your clothes??? I don't really care, my point is an error occurred and no one cared until I posted up here. Order number is 056CD Completed Jan 2, 5:50p. I've ordered from here so many times, like $200 in last 2 weeks, it seems silly to me that you and uber eats losing a customer over this.

SECOND AND FINAL RESPONSE. Again, I never said there is a pet in the store. Someone may have a pet with white hair at HOME and may have hair on their clothes when they come to WORK. Either way, my food having hair in it is a you all problem not mine. I paid $50 with tip and delivery, so making food wasn't my issue that day and after having only hairy food and no response to my issue, I had to order again elsewhere. I do not want more food from the same place after you all clearly still have no idea what the issue was or how it happened. I dont care what uber is doing, you all made the food, responded to my complaint here and should refund it. Period. So, I just filed a dispute for the charges with the fraud debt. at my bank, you all can sort it out with them, but somebody paying me back regardless and both of yall lost a customer. Here I go with another raving review ! Let me tell yall this food was so good yall! It really blew me! First off let me say my client brought me sushi for lunch yesterday and just know I’m here today ! Me and my cousin decided to dine in and the food was truly amazing! Hot, Fresh and presentation was on point! I ordered the titanic roll and subbed shrimp for salmon( this is a $3 up charge) it was so fresh and delicious ! Literally no complaints! I also ordered a side of fried rice that was NOT greasy and made to perfection.

My cousin ordered the bbq chicken with Hawaiian style rice ($2 up charge ) that she said was amazing. I tried the rice and Mac salad and it was good I didn’t try the chicken. But she said it was snack ya momma good 🤯😭

Oh I also ordered the crab Rangoon which is definitely cutesy and hand made.

All and all I give it a 10/10

I struggle with writing bad reviews because i think to myself what if this was just a bad day so when i get really good food I take the time to acknowledge and say thank you! I’m a foody who works on her feet all day literally a good meal can save my whole day! They put a lot of love into their food and I like that! We’ll definitely be back !

My wife and I tried Sakura for the first time today and we were pleasantly surprised! The dining room is small and not much to write home about. There is a fridge for drinks (we didn't see a fountain machine or anything). The drinks are all pretty fun drinks you don't usually see in America which we enjoyed. We tried the Fried Gyoza appetizer which was great. I prefer steamed, but for fried, very good. The sauce that is served with them is a game changer. My wife got the BBQ Chicken. I'm not a fan of BBQ anything, but this was amazing. There was a ton of food on the plate: macaroni salad, really good fried rice, and amazing chicken. Once again, the sauce was just something else. The whole reason for coming was because I was craving ramen which I love to eat but hate driving into the city to get. I got the Tonkatsu with Kimchi. It was good! Much better than I was expecting honestly, but as others have said, when you compare it to other ramen places around, the broth is a bit weaker. But this absolutely satisfied my ramen craving.
