On 3/27/19 @ 9:45-10:00 a.m., I went through the drive thru at this particular Tim Hortons, and got the 2 for $4 deal sandwiches deal, and a medium double double regular coffee. Got my coffee, and took a couple drinks while waiting on the breakfast sandwiches. Not the best I've had from Hortons, but tasted alright, and I was in a hurry. I start driving down the road taking another drink of coffee, and getting a mouthful of nasty curdled moldy creamer, leftover from the what must have been stuck to the tube for months, I spit out in a napkin, what was left of it after swallowing some, of course getting coffee all over my clothes and car, turned around and went back to Hortons, asked for manager. Manager, mid 30's black male approaches, shirt was dirty and all wrinkled, looked very unprofessional, as well as, having an attitude along with a couple other employees there with him. I showed him the napkin with what happened, and the coffee with cruddy floaties in it, and he says, oh that's just creamer from the machine, it does that every once in a while, along with another female employee confirming his statement. Not impressed by there response, he got me another drink, said he was sorry. When I asked for my money back, he took my coffee back and started to hand me back money for just the coffee. I said, no, I want money back for the whole order, seeing how everything is cold at this point, not to mention my clothes ruined and being late for work. He and the other female employee said, well then, we need the food back, also adding, you probably already ate it, didn't you? Completely humiliated and in disbelief of how they were treating me, and beyond mad at this point, I walk back out to car, get the untouched breakfast sandwiches and slam them on the counter. They all started threatening me at that point and said I wasn't getting any of my money back. In complete and utter disbelief of what just went down in Horton franchise establishment, whom ive supported for many years, I left, without my money back or product. I was sick to my stomach, which resulted in me leaving work early and being ill into the following day. I am very unsatisfied and disgusted with the unsanitary food received, as well as, treatment from management and employees. I'm determining what to do at this point? I ordered a dozen dounuts, 20 timbits, 3 breakfast sandwiches and a lg carmel iced coffee totalling almost $50 and received 3 cold breakfast sandwiches. When i contacted the delivery driver he stated i had to call the restaurant. I called 5x and each time got a busy signal. So i went to the store at 9:45am and asked for a manager, the cashier told me she would be right with me. The manager was the one making all the drive thru orders and was standing right behind the cashier when i asked for a manager. 15 mins pass by and not once did she turn around acknowledge me or ask someone else to take over. So i loudly asked why she was ignoring me to make someone's meal who ordered 10mins ago and I've been waiting an hour. The same cashier who told me she couldn't help me then steps in and says I'm a supervisor who is training trainees and she is making our drive thru orders, so i reply those orders are more important than mine, because mine was $50 how much are those orders? Thats when the manager finally turned around and addressed me. She ultimately got me my food minus the coffee 20mins after i walked in the store! I ask if perhaps maybe they could make it vanilla instead The worker said no itās too late with an attitude then told me I would have to go around and get back in line with six cars behind me so I said whatever Iāll just pay then I only have two drinks and they told me to pull to the front and I just said no since itās already too late and I already have my hot chocolate why not just wait an extra 30 seconds for the chai latte to give me half full cup of chai latte and it was entirely too strong then I go to taste my sons, hot chocolate itās water down to where you canāt even taste hot chocolate at all canāt even taste the milk like itās just water and a little bit of cocoa powder. You can hear the manager trying to get his line to go faster so he can make a certain time but itās just like you you were taking peoples money and youāre not giving them adequate service just so whats the reason poor service just so you can make time, but I will be reaching out for a refund or accommodation for this issue .
