Westside Slice — Restaurant in Columbus

Ordered Wednesday 6/21 at 3:30pm. Somehow google suggested it. I read reviews and was a little skeptical... Soo many good reviews it seemed a little TOO good to be true! Lately my go to pizza places, and ones I've tried on a whim haven't satisfied my pizza craving. Seriously! I'd eat one piece and be done! So i ordered a pizza with pepperoni, sausage and half mushroom. Also ordered the cheese bread. Went and picked it up, get in my car opened the box and the pizza looked amazing! So on my 13 minute drive home I devoured 3 pieces! Came home ate probably 4 or 5 more! While also forcing everyone to try a piece while its hot. Lol. Then the next day I tried a piece cold and it was even good cold! So, lemme just say, 1st off the reviews are 100 percent real and true! This is the best pizza I've had in a couple years hands down! I told my friend last night her and her husband HAVE to try it!! Now, the cheese bread definitely didn't live up to the reviews but i will say mine also didn't look like the ones in the reviews. There was barely any cheese but i can see from pic's that isnt the norm so i will have to give it a try again another time. However, the pizza was Soo good it didn't matter that the cheese bread wasn't! Didn't think about taking pictures but I will next time. So if you're tired of being disappointed by "your favs"..., Just try this place! I can promise you it's better than anything on the west/southwest side of town right now and l am so glad I came across...

We've been thinking about trying this place for a year or so, since they're fairly new to the area. I normally order from the business that used to occupy this space which has moved to Sullivant ave. We were excited to try the pizza here, since they offer Beef Pepperoni, we looked up their menu on their website. I called to order, a large beef pep pizza, 10 wings, and a chefs salad. I picked up the food, brought it home and almost threw it in the garbage, the pizza was simply not good, the sauce was fair, but the crust was well done around the edges, but undercooked in the center. The cheese was overloaded and undercooked, also not of great quality. The wings were vitrually inedible, completely undercooked gummy, and tough. No crispiness at all, and not much of the sauce or dry rub was added. The salad was a Dole salad from a bag, not even fresh, with onions and banana peppers added. Even the dressing was terrible (probably marzettis) When I looked at the receipt, I was overcharged from what the website said, on every single item. We were extremely dissatisfied with this place and will NEVER return. My thoughts, this place should not be in business... especially on this side of town with so much competition that has way better quality, and a better deal. Dont waste your time with this place. There are much better options within...

Yooo, dynamite pizza! Loved visiting this spot. The fellas that run it are real friendly and hospitable. You can tell they're passionate in their craft. Really appreciate the option of having beef pepperoni, hard finding that for non pork eaters. Was very delicious, the crispiness of the crust and pepperoni was perfect. The sauce was really good too, more on sweeter side which I like. The pepperoni had a great spice to it, next time will add mushrooms after reading since other reviews. We also ordered a house salad, which was fresh and no soggy/browned lettuce, and plenty of cheese and dressing as well as a cookie pizza. Definitely eat that cookie fresh as possible, it hardens up quite quickly. I've tried around 6 different non franchise pizza spots here in Columbus since moving here in early 2023, would be confident to say it's my favorite pizza here. I can see myself ordering a pizza for the wife and I every 2-3 weeks. They're building up this shop and putting in arcade machines for it's patrons.
