Read moreI really wanted to give it a good review. I really wanted to like it.
Food: The food is mediocre. It's not real authentic Mexican food. The fajitas with the combination of chicken, beef and shrimp gets over cooked because of the hot skillet, the first few bits are fine but the shrimp gets hard and rubbery afters a few mins. I have also some fish tacos and Honestly they are like a level up and tad more Mexican than taco bell. They were dry, poorly seasoned and had the weirdest toppings I have seen on fish tacos. They had yellow cheese...? Literally like taco bell... except this did not work. Is has to be the first Mexican restaurant that I go to that doesn't have salsa!!! Nothing but like 2 types of bottled ones...
Staff/service/ place: Staff is pretty friendly, just like in every place you'll have that one person that makes you wonder, why they took a job that's consistent of dealing with people if they can't...but usually pretty nice.
Service is pretty fast they don't take forever bring out the food (probably because it's very low quality) they are usally fast getting something for you. (More drinks ect...)
Place is very nice, that's why I really wanted to like it here. The place is decorated very nicely celebrating the Mexican culture. What a shame that their food doesn't give the same message.
BOTTOM LINE: It's a decent place to go. If you don't eat a lot of Mexican food so don't have much to compare it to give it a shot maybe you'll like it. If you do get exposed to lots of Mexican food and like salas with your food (Like Mexicans tend to) don't...
