Big Daddy Mexican Food — Restaurant in Commerce City

Extremely disappointed. The high reviews on here must be fabricated or bought. I’ll start with the service. The lady at the counter taking my order was super rude. I was asking a question about the menu and she pointed at it and asked “Can you read?” I actually found it a bit funny but it was definitely rude. Also my buddy asked on the way out if he could have some lime or lemon as we had ordered to go and she replied “No, that does not come with your order.” He ordered a burrito.

Next let’s talk about the food. I ordered carne asada fries and two pastor tacos. The asada fries were very lackluster, very minimal flavor and the fries were cold(I ate it as soon as I got in my truck). The pastor was FLAVORLESS. Literally the most bland pastor I’ve ever had. The salsa was also flavorless and watery.

If you’ve made it this far in my review and still decide to try this restaurant. PLEASE write an honest review. I’ve gave two stars because they had coke in glass...

Oh...my God. Guys...don't come here. Don't believe these reviews. This was AWFULLLLLLL and gave me the worst stomach pain and the runs. There is ABSOLUTELY no flavor, which you can see in the pics. Carna asada? I don't think so. I'm a gringo and I make better "authentic" mexican food. The rice was AWFUL, didn't even taste like Mexican rice? One taco tasted foul....I spit it out after one bite. Had high hopes because of the raving reviews bit seriously, save your money. Not even worth a little bit of what I paid (25 bucks for 4 tacos and taco plate). (I prolly won’t be welcomed back after my post, as the sign inside states “We can refuse service to anyone” and this is a complaint. My family has been coming here for over the last year, a lot. I was pregnant with my Son and craved their horchata. They have amazing food. The problem is the staff. The lady at the front can be really sweet (or like today) be extremely rude! I ordered the Horchata that used to be $4.50 and had to return to my car because they raised the price by $0.15 (not a big deal.) she wouldn’t look at us when we spoke and acted like we were a problem. We stopped going there for awhile now, and now we know why. Not sure we will return as we brought a lot...
