They took my order and had me pull into #2 drive through waiting spot. Someone came out with my order and gave it to the wrong vehicle. I waited 20 minutes before going inside and asking for my food. It is busy, I get that. But first in is first out. Don't have someone park and wait if you're not going to be accurate on timing and orders. Especially when the #2 drive thru spot is literally right in front of your drive thru window where you're standing looking out of. This isn't the first time this has happened to me. And I was 10 minutes late to work. So this "free" pie your cashier gave me doesn't have any value to me. I appreciate the thought, but this $3 pie won't get me my $18 back. Sad part is, there's another McDonald's on my way to and from work that has never had this issue. So I'm going to cut my relationship of 2 years with this restaurant and am going to the other one. The lady who gave me my order threw away my receipt, otherwise I would have filled out the HR side instead of using Google maps to bash the restaurant. If you want fast food from McDonald's, go to the McDonald's on 104th and highway 85. Save yourself the 20 minute wait.
Also to add onto your order accuracy, keep track or even write down the license plate of the vehicle that you made pull away and wait. I can see multiple people with big orders getting told to wait and someone gets a whole free order at the expense of your top-end. Just like that car parked in #5 got my order AND their own order. And if you need to have 5 holding spots for orders, there's something wrong.
Don't clear that order on your screen just because you don't want to look bad for HR. That would be a hilarious response from HR to see that I waited 20 minutes, had to go into the store for my food, wasn't given my receipt back, and was late for work.
Sorry for ranting. But I will never be coming back to this McDonald's and I'm telling everyone I know to hold it out and go to another one who actually pays attention.

Read moreI am a long time employee of DIA airport and Live in Reunion . Im not one to complain but the service at this location after several incidents has gotten completely out of control. The first incident was a morning visit and while on my way to my flight I stopped for a couple burritos and a Orange Juice . The Burritos were "hard" and the contents completely cold fresh from the drive through window ! They were thrown away and with no time to return and complain then, I went on to work . Second incident : My dog "Bubba" and I were out and about and decided to pull through the drive through and get a couple cheese burgers to tide us over till Dinner . When Bubba won't completely inhale a burger in seconds there is something wrong ! I opened mine and noticed why ! It was a cheeseburger without the meat ???? No wonder Bubba left his on the seat !!! We did have time to complain now this was just unreal ?? When I went inside to complain the Front counter person was playing "paddycake" with the young gentlemen on the fryer and when I asked the lady cleaning tables she could not understand or speak enough English to help me? ...... I threw the burgers in the trash and left swearing to never return ! Several weeks go by and I decide this morning to give the place another chance and low and behold I got two Egg Mcmuffin's without the EGG ???? That's it 3 strikes your out I am done with this poorly managed and staffed facility never to return ..... and apparently I'm not the only one when I arrived to work and described my experience at this McDonald's the entire ready room burst into comment and their poor experiences there . Obviously this is a franchised facility because I don't think McDonald's corporate would tolerate such poor service .... at least I would hope not !!!! Anyway I'm done with this place and many others are too .... taking my business up the street to there...
Read moreI go here frequently as I both live and work nearby, I just say that the service here is both the best and the worst I've ever seen. Abner (I believe he's a lead or manager) is simply fantastic along with several staff members (I won't mention their names for privacy reasons) that have always provided a great experience. However, McDonalds has a young lady working their who I'm afraid is the most incompetent person to ever work at this location. I have interacted with her three times and I finally feel it it necessary to complain about her. She has messed up our order every single time (we are always respectfully patient) and has failed to put use the app coupons (not even sure how she voided them). I had one experience where I spent 30 minutes waiting and enjoying the food and the Guests at the table next to me explained they had been waiting for 15 minutes. Before I arrived they still had not gotten thief order after I left. (When asked about it she would simply shrug) I'm unfortunately just beyond frustrated with the particular employee and have taken to leaving when I see her as she makes the entire interaction frustrating. The reason that I will still politely give the place 5 stars (a rare gift from me) is that they are playing Christmas music (and particularly Christan Christmas) this season when no one seems to be.
