Denny's — Restaurant in Commerce

Took my 94 year old grandmother and my 73 year old aunt to breakfast here after my grandmother was fasting for some blood drawn. Had a horrible experience from our server. Seemed they were understaffed so had to go seat ourselves. When the waitress which according to the receipt was name Jamie came to take my order she already seemed to have an attitude. I ordered the salted caramel french toast and she asked if I wanted either bacon or sausage with the order. I took a look at the menu and showed her that it clearly states that it came with 2 pcs ea of bacon and sausage. It sounded like she didn’t pay attention or for some reason chose to ignore me. And left until she brought our orders. Of course mine was wrong, she had brought over the salted caramel pancakes. And so I told her that my order was wrong. She looked annoyed and rolled her eyes and snatched the plate from the table. This was already kinda frustrating, and i should of left then. But again i was here more for my grandma. When she brought the new plate over i notice that of course only had 2 sausages with it. Again I reminded her that my order came with 2 bacon and 2 sausage. And she snatched the plate again. And exclaimed “Okay but it doesn’t come with hash browns!” And proceeded to finally being my order correctly. It would of been ok if that was it. Im willing to let bygones be bygones. After all they seemed understaffed again. But it looked like we started to get ignored after that by the whole wait staff. Even after telling 2 other workers my grandma and aunt wanted a refill on their coffee (and you know $3+ for 1 serving in their tiny cup is ridiculous) they simply ignored me when I tried to ask for a refill. Our server Jamie was running all over the place and whenever she walked past or near our table she would choose to turn away/ look away. My grandmother and aunt started to get upset as well, so we decided to go. Of course Jamie came rushing over when we asked to get our check and brought the coffee too, but too little too late. My grandma and aunt were already heading out and upset. Really this is just terrible service and it made me very upset not only being ignored and disrespected but for my family to be as well. By the way in the middle of rushing around she managed to talk and flirt with a pair of old white gentlemen for like 5 mins while we were still waiting for some coffee. Don’t know if we will ever be back. Maybe hit up a different Dennys. Would be good if their manager was paying attention but perhaps these people are overworked and angry and so pushing that on to...

I came in to have the new endless breakfast. We came in confused since no one had bothered to ask us dine in or "how many people". We waited until one of the employees asked me. I said 2 people and then we were seated at a table that was dirty. The host did clean it, and once it was clean we sat down. The host left and decided to help someone else and then gave us menus. We looked at our menus and the host didnt help us until 20 mins after then asked us what we wanted. My friend was very excited to get milkshakes and we asked and then the host was instantly dismissive amd said there wasnt any available. Its 11am so i dnt know how thats possible. She left and we waiting almost 30 mins for our food. We ate our food within 20 mins. And we were waiting for our host to return to ask if we wanted another round and coffee. She kept on passing by and looking at us but never bothered to ask us if we wanted anything. She finally came to us and asked if we needed anything so my friend and i asked for coffee i was about to ask for more food but she quickly left. We waited more time and we interrupted her when she was helping someone else and ask for more food but before i could tell her to change the way our eggs were made she left! She had came back to help someone else and after she helped that person i asked her if it was possible to change the way our eggs were made and she rudely said "i already ordered your food, shouldve told me earlier." My friend and i both looked at each other and we said ok. We got our food but my friend didnt get utensials. So we waited again and the asked and finally after finishing our food. We are waiting again and its been 15mins since we finished and we are waiting for our check.

Bad service and idk if our host didnt like us...

My experience here today was terrible! Our server was Alma M. This lady doesn't listen, she rushes you when ordering and speaks over you. I gave her the main menu I was holding and then I grabbed their $2, $4, $6, $8 menu which is always at the table. She took the menu off my hands and put it down on the table! I didn't know what to say to her, I was shocked. My husband wasn't done talking when she walked away. His mouth was literally open about to speak when she took off. I called her back and told her my husband wanted something else instead of the French toast order. She said she had to ask the manager to see if he'd approve and she was very loud about it so the manager and coworkers would hear. I could tell she was hoping I'd say that's fine nevermind. At this point I didn't care and said okay go ask your manager. While making changes to our order she continued speaking over me and my husband, she wouldn't listen and instead continued guessing what I was going to say. If the combo had the option for hash browns or bread she would assume instead of asking what I wanted. It was very frustrating. We ended up getting the extra order of French toasts but we were so annoyed with her we didn't care anymore. I just wanted her to get lost and let me eat in peace. She brought me wheat pancakes. I have no idea where that came from because neither one of us ever ordered wheat.. My English muffin was soaked in butter. It was soggy and nasty. She ruined my breakfast I am never going back there ever. To top it off everytime she would walk by she would interrupt our conversation and ask in her annoying loud voice, "TODO BIEN, TODO BIEN?" Like if that was going to make up for her nasty attitude and lack of customer...
