5.11 — Local services in Commerce

First the brand. Gear clothes are hit and miss. Some incredibly well made and thought out stuff, others not so much. Expensive but if it is what you are looking for then you are paying for name and quality.

This store is one of the more difficult ones to get to. I have been here a few times and really liked the outlet attached.

For the main store it seemed under stocked with some stuff displayed but out of stock.

The outlet part seems to be mostly sale priced stuff that didn't sell. Not the deep discounts I was used to. They did have some gems (and good deal on some boots) but mostly just discounted but not for things I would really want.

Example was their thermal shirt. I bought 2 on sale during the holidays and liked them (still expensive but nice quality and comfortable. ) The ones I found at the outlet cost more than I paid during the holiday sale.

Stop by but don't just buy because you think it's a deal. Know what you want and what you're willing to pay. Definitely check out the main store first to see what...

I went on 05/05/17 to buy some stuff. I got a couple of pouches that were marked at $5. When I paid, the guy told me that they don't provide a paper receipt but that one will be emailed to me and proceeded to request my email address. I gave him my email address and paid for all of the merchandise. When I got home, I noticed that they charged me more than the marked price for the pouches. I called the store to let them know and requested a price adjustment because the signed clearly stated $5 per pouch. sadly to say, they wanted me to drive back to commerce (I live about 40 miles one way) to look at my receipt. I told the guy that I live about 40 away and asked if he can adjust the price over the phone. He said that he couldn't and that the only way to look at it was for me to drive back. Great service from Wendy and Daniel at your Commerce store. Both were extremely pleasant to interact act with. Wendy greeted us as we came into the store and offered to help us if we had any questions. She directed us to the area we needed to look for backpacks and kept a vigilant eye on us to see if we had any questions without being overbearing. Daniel was also very helpful and made suggestions that helped us pick out the right shirts for our son. Also, Wendy brought out the order they had waiting for us to pick up. We also observed both helping other customers with the same pleasant demeanor extended to us. These are the type of personnel all businesses should have and should be rewarded accordingly.
